Great videos as always you two. Two things you need to do before you hit the road long term. 1. Install a large Hayden transmission oil cooler. Those transmissions do not like heat. 2. Spray/have sprayed undercarriage a product called "Fluid Film". It will halt or slow down corrosion. Sprinters, transits, Promasters, Mercedes alike have little to no zinc protection. They know these are work trucks and expected life of about five service years. Gods speed on your voyages. Hope one day we see you with our bus in 2023. John 60107 USA.

Rust prevention is a must. The ones that I drive around or behind that are 5 years old and older usually start showing rust.

The ride will improve when you put some weight in it. And the echo-ey tin can sound when you close the doors will become a solid thunk once you put in some sound deadening on all that exposed metal. The ProMaster is great and only gets better as you build it out. Enjoy!!

Sure will be easier to get around in this van. Similar to a bus, good sized mirrors helps a bunch. On my van and pickup, *had* , (vehicles are gone now), the longer vertical mirrors, with convex stick on mirrors.

Congratulations on the new van - great choice! I have a 2021 Promaster 3500 high roof, long wheelbase and love it! Drives really well and fits in a regular parking space which are big pluses. Looking forward to seeing the buildout.

I bought a new 2020 Promaster 2500 159" highroof in '20, have 3500 miles on it. You'll love yours, tight turning radius good fuel milage, low floor height. Keep fresh oil in the engine every 3500 miles and fresh Trans fluid in the Trans every 15 or 20k miles and she'll last you a long time. Spray the undercarriage with Woodwax or fluid film to prohibit rust.

You kids are very fortunate. My wife and I have been camping, backpacking, and now travel trailer owners. We might be going to a class B+ in our future (I hope) . Good luck to the both of you. Put the bed in the very back extending out over the wheel wells. Use that space underneath for the tanks and electronics.
