Buying an Antique Farmall Super A

My Father-in-Law Gary bought this International Harvester Farmall Super A antique tractor, so Mike, Jay and myself went with him to help load it up and bring it home. Many of these antique Farmall's are still used on small farms today.
We acquired the sickle mower with it and in a different video we install that sickle bar for the first time and try it out.

Highly recommend that you keep the magneto on that tractor. If you wanted or had to, you could crank start it by hand even with a dead battery… very reliable.

I have a chance to get one of these it has a loader attached to it now in a rear blade implement the front grill is damaged and it needs a clutch installed. He wants $500

These make great bushhogging tractors i have one at my hunting camp I bought for almost nothing and we bushhog and lant food plots with it and have no problems with it weve mowed crap over 9 ft tall down with it

I love the old tractors. Have a 49’ Cub I just got up and running. I’d love to add a Farmall A, B, C, H and M one day.

the thing about the M's (and maybe H's) is that after a while the inner axle bearing falls into the bull gears and housing wall causing cracking.

Brings back some memories, I spent many, many hours riding my Dad's Super A just like that cutting hay and cultivating corn with the neat cultivator. I am surprised that the "Super" is not on the decal.

I was a little surprised too about the decal, but when I saw the owner had several more Farmalls in the barn, I wondered if maybe the hoods got switched with a different one. Thanks for watching!

The model is one of their smaller models. It's offset design makes it perfect for plowing gardens and such. Most of them had a PTO drive that would run anything. Lots and lots of parts here is the state and the price is oK. I'll give you $500.00 for it right now.
