nice buy we don't see many skid steers here in wales either you can buy rubber tracks to go over the tyers if helps

Looks like fun. Take your time learning to drive it. Skid steers can get out of control quickly if you're not paying attention. Especially those small bobcats like that.

I have some jobs for it where it's a lot of space so I will start there, I'm waiting for some filters for it still. I want to do an full service before I start using.

Yes it's pretty good, sadly I borrowed it to a friend and he put hydraulic oil in it, so one drive motor sized 😢

Make sure you take out the "goer" when you park it. Nobody can start it. (The distributor rotor button, we took it off of ours to keep it from being stolen. Won't start without it!)

What is the goer?

Nice little skid steer. You will enjoy it they are very useful. In the US we call those Bobkitten's that size. They are good machines. I have a Cat skid steer myself and I really like it.

I'm hoping it will make some jobs easier, I would have liked an bigger one, but as mentioned up here it's not many of them, and it looks like the ones that are here are used until it's nothing left.

When pulling on your trailer. 1- use chains (4 of them) 2- they should spead out to the corners of the trailer where your tie downs are located. That keeps it stable at the base and won't allow it to tip. The way you pulled it could have rolled around a sharp turn.

Thanks for the tip 😊 I mostly use the fabric straps they are nice and easy to use and hold 5000kg (11000pounds) not as good as chains on wear so I use a couple during the season 😬 I've found better ways to secure the Bobcat now 😊

you can fit tracks to a skid steer with ease best of both worlds

Yes I've seen that on KZbin but here in Norway skids are far between so aftermarket parts are almost impossible or way to expensive to get sadly 😣

My friend hot the same Bobcart but for some reason his starter motor literally breaks down from its place when he uses it on high rpm. Anyone has any idea why?
@MiniMachines15 жыл бұрын
Haven't had that problem, hope I won't, but it could be the solenoid in the starter not releasing the starter from the flywheel, or bad engine mounts? My first guess..
@FrodoTEST5 жыл бұрын
@@MiniMachines1 The mounts are brand new I forgot to mention that it breaks because the engine vibrates horribly on operating RPM. Today a bobcat guru will take a look at it, I hope he solves it.

dangerous to carry load high and spin
@dallasbaiton32344 жыл бұрын
butlerpep good advice these machines are great but you can get into trouble fast when carrying loads , they are not as stable as your tractor . Just a heads up to keep you from having a bad day .

I felt that luckily nothing gone wrong yet, but will get some hours in it this winter clearing snow 😁
