Those are ball mounts that fasten the attachment to the frame of the skidsteer, probably had it on an old 900 series machine, which by the way are great heavy duty work horses even by today's standards.

The trees didn't make it unfortunately. But at least planting them was good practice!

Dang, nice restoration. I think some custom SRG vinyl stickers would look nice on that bad boy. Also looks like it would dig out a nice garden if you need to test it more.

Nice video, very informative. How much did all of the new hoses cost?
@spankranchgarageАй бұрын
They were really expensive. Almost 700 dollars if I remember right. But my local hose people were out of control. I replaced every line on my dozer with lines from an online supplier and they were half the price. I want to support the local shops to keep them going but at double the cost, its getting hard to justify.
@0tink92 жыл бұрын
all it takes is 1 project to justify the purchase and effort (no matter how big or small) Love it! Gonna need to build a car port off the side of the garage just for the toys / accessories

Very nice job, I did the same thing. I found on old bobcat 907 fixed it up, changed some hoses and rebuild some cylinder's painted it. and remove the bobcat mounts. Welded mounts to fit the 1845 case. New stickers, your project turned out great.

Awesome great to hear it! Pretty handy attachment. I’ve put some hours on it since. The stabilizer seals are leaking but not enough to tear them apart yet

Do the 900 series backhoes not attach to the chassis like the 700 series?
@spankranchgarage7 ай бұрын
I don't know, this one has been messed with. Someone cut off whatever was supposed to be there and welded on some trailer couplers to fit something that is not a bobcat!

Hi, did you replace all the hydraulic hoses, what sizes hydraulic hose did you use to the cylinders 3/8" or 1/2"?
@spankranchgarage Жыл бұрын
I replaced them with that came off. Off the top of my head all the cylinder hoses were 3/8"s
@dennisfarquhar380 Жыл бұрын
@@spankranchgarage Thanks, appreciate. Also thought they should be 3/8". The previous owner of the one I bought mixed all the hoses with 1/2" to the bucket, 3/8" to the boom and 1/4" to the dipper arm.
