Buying and Selling Broken Eaglemoss Star Trek Models on Ebay. Good or Bad?

Is it worth buying a lot of broken Eaglemoss models and trying to sell for a profit?

I’ve recently got a enterprise d eaglemoss model that had been smashed to bits but the saucer was perfectly intact so I’m gonna turn it into the crashed saucer from generations.

Broken Eaglemoss models are great - I like to get them, and use them as parts for kitbashes. I tend to turn a lot of the Eaglemoss Federation ships that I get into 1:1000 scale "small ships", like scouts, science vessels or escorts.

Me and a friend tried this many years ago when Eaglemoss was still about and we found there was no profit to be had in the models broken or otherwise the best thing for them was kit bashing I think the main problem comes down to the overproduced every model meaning there are thousands about and if anyone did have a broken model it was actually cheaper to buy a brand new one than it was to try and repair it that is still the case especially with the standard size models some of the newer ones Discovery/Picard less so it's also worth noting it's the same with the magazines as well

Don't forget... if you kept some of the models that you bought, then (technically) you will have made more that £1 profit... because you are selling less than you bought. Nice job with the repairs.. I don't think that I would have the patience!!

if its the standard size, yes please. the diarama im planning will have all the generations of constitution ships. so far i have 8 that im using of the matt jefferies version. im scowering ebay daily for some, then im renaming them.

Is the Ferengi Marauder missing the claw like emitter things on the end of it's wings ?

i think they were both there, but the romulam 22nd century bird of prey was missing the underside of the necelle that i missed.
