Neil - just watched you on the Late Brake Show with your Nissan. Neil Turner - I remember that name from when I owned (with my wife) 7 MG Maestro turbos (not all at once) and an MGF. We had two T16 Maestro turbos which had been built by Roger Parker - his green one and a white one. They were great cars back in the day and are now fetching good money. Great to see you on KZbin. I'm now into electric cars and drive a Tesla Model Y. They are much more reliable and cheaper to run than internal combustion engined vehicles. They are also insanely fast.

Hi Martin, nice you hear from you. I sometimes wondered what you and Jackie are up to these days. I had heard you were into EVs. I sold my last Montego a couple of years ago, it was a LHD one I imported from Netherlands in 2016. I tend to stick to less rusty cars these days (Primera excluded), and do enjoy a fast diesel.

AD09 LLF turns up a 3.8 litre Nissan last taxed in 2012, what *is* the plate? Looks almost like A009 LLF which isn't valid 🤔 (Sorry, just nerding out after finally watching Jonny's Primera video. E82 135i owner, so above average interest in old 1ers).

My prediction - it’s had a timing chain kit done but with cheap BGA/FAI stuff, the black resin plastic within the chain guides has disintegrated (really common on non genuine guides) and gone in to the sump blocking the oil pickup and starved the engine of oil 👍🏼

Yes that was one of my thoughts too. Shame as it’s had some decent money spent on it.

I was pleasantly surprised how well it did. Shame the camera stopped recording when I backed it in as it was slipping all over the place.
