I don’t purchase preloved anymore, because I had a bad experience with Poshmark 3 years ago with purchasing vintage Coach handbags. A year after I purchased the vintage Coach handbags, I had the bags authenticated in a Facebook group, and 2 of the bags were fakes. I contacted Poshmark and they insisted the bags were authentic. The bags have since left my collection. Call me crazy, but I will only purchase directly from the retailer. All of my contemporary bags except for one, and all of my luxury bags came directly from the retailer. It is just too much stress and anxiety for me to purchase preloved. However, I do realize there will be times when I will have to purchase preloved. For example, if I plan to get that vintage Chanel one day, I am sorry about your purchasing experience from pre-love vendors. Thanks for sharing. It is greatly appreciated.

I have had a similar experience with Poshmark and it sucked but I had a better outcome! I don't blame you - any savings isn't worth months of stress - and there will always be a bag you like that's brand new 🩷

Hi Aaryn - this is the not so luxurious side of luxury shopping. I watched your MJ tote bag video dozens of times when I was considering buying one from eBay and after I received it. Online and pre loved shopping can definitely make you feel helpless and at the mercy of another. We can only hope the reward will be worth it 😢 TFS.

l never understood why people would send bags or other items bag from the boutique …until it happened to me…lol. I had gone to Coach and tried on a ball cap in Chicago. I should’ve bought it, but I didn’t. Well, I couldn’t get it out of my head, so I ordered it a few weeks later… and It was not the same hat i had tried on. The Cs should’ve been debossed and these were like printed on. I was so disappointed. So that was my first ever send back. I get it now. Since I’m fortunate enough to have both a boutique and the outlet close by, I go to the store to see them in person, so I know what they look and feel like before I buy. 90 percent of my bags are preloved. I just can’t buy them new. I think I love the thrill of finding a bag I like/love and buy at a third of the price. Lucky i have amazing consignment stores where I live. And I have a plan. I only want three bags this year, so it’s always exciting. love that you are tackling topics, rather than unboxing. Giving reviews of usage than first impressions.

I wish I had stores close to me because buying remotely is tough. I try to get as many photos as possible from the boutique so avoid returns but sometimes the SAs miss something and sometimes bag styles just don't work! Also, to take advantage of online deals and cashback it's just a much better deal to order online...Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!!🩷

I usually just go to the boutique or order from their official website at this point. I've had so many handbags that I purchased online with issues and problems. I'm done with ordering from all these websites where ppl scam. Either the bag was fake or the bag wasn't in great condition. It's just been a mess.

Almost all preloved items I have purchased I end up returning for quality issues (which can be extremely frustrating). Too much of a hassle and disappointment. I would rather pay full price or wait for a sale/discount on a brand new item.

I have had my share of issues - but also with the boutiques themselves! If you have a good preloved reseller at least you can see pics of what you are getting instead of chancing a defective preorder from LV dot com. Nothing is completely safe unless you are physically there with your hands on the bag - and I rarely have that option:(...Ty so much for watching & sharing!!!🩷🩷🩷

I would add Vinted to the list. Been scammed on there and Vinted customer service is non existent. Had to open dispute with my bank. Almost 2000 dollars lost but received back thanks to my bank.

I've had a bad experience with Vestiaire Collective. I purchased a bag but it was not as described. They reinspected and said it was fine and refused my request for a refund. I have never used the bag and it still has their tag on it. I've had it 5 months and am still disgusted.

Real life has so many stress factors. I’ve been on a mission to eliminate UNNECESSARY stress and anxiety. I followed your channel for a long time but I realized that watching your frustrations dealing with multiple issues from various vendors was raising MY anxiety levels. Crazy, huh? I totally understand that you expect to get what you pay for but, for me, no bag is worth dealing with all the frustrating variables you mention. You had a rough period with multiple problems, even getting banned from one of the services (Vestaire?). So for my own peace of mind I unsubscribed from your channel. I am going to try to appreciate what I have and make content with it - I have plenty of bags to talk about after all! If I do talk about past frustrations I won't be so irritated because it's history at this point🥰. I have two bags and two straps yet to show, but after that I'm going to make myself give something up if I buy something and that's going to be challenging bc I love everything I have! I will say Ebay is authentication team is crazy thorough I was selling one of my new Chanel bags never used had the tags on it had that plastic on the hardware still and they rejected it just because there was a tiny bit of dust inside I end it up reaching out to the girl and selling it anyways it was in immaculate condition but ebay is crazy with authenticating but absolutely great for the customer
