I found out today (after 94.9 hours playing lol) )that when you build a stair, and press "R" it changes the underside of the stair. (BEFORE YOU BUILD THE STAIRS COMPLEATLY) so you don't need slanty bits for a full cover under the stairs. ^^

I think that barn would be the perfect place to give a spooky horror themed house vibe personally since it is so similar to the house they used for Amityville horror movie

My thoughts on the second wing is a 2 story outdoor deck, like a big covered porch, but it has no walls, only pillars, and for the second floor you have railing going all around it, but the only way to access it would be from the second floor balcony out back. The bottom floor just has stairs going up from ground level all around it. The sundeck should only be accessible from inside the main section to avoid unwanted guests sneaking in. The color scheme for the entire build should be Dark Red wood, accented by white-ish or very light colored wood. This would make it look like a classic Swedish Barn with red walls and white corners/trim.

I really like when you do big renovations. And this barn has so many possibilities. 😊 I don’t know if it would work for this house, since I’m assuming you’ve already started work on it, but it would be cool to one day see you do a big house with a small apartment connected to it like you were debating about putting upstairs. Since I’m watching this a bit late, I’m looking forward to seeing what you ended up choosing to do with this place.

Totally with you, Grill, on the day-night problem. Would like the option to switch day/ night/ current change. That way I could work during the day and switch to night to check the lighting and effect at night. I really can't do a lot at night. Even with overhead lights you can't make color choices. It is not like you could sit and watch TV or walk in the woods or along the shore in the moonlight. I just finished to barn so looking forward to seeing that. Just 10 minutes in.

If you like, I think the symmetry if having the extension on both sides would be nice I would put a balcony out the front and just slightly extend the one in the back. I do really like your videos, you're so chill. You think outside the box too

knock out that one row of bricks closest to the where the stairs are, then your staircase can be closer to the wall, no gap inbetween.

I think you should rebuild the roof and add a balcony over the bedrooms. Sad to see you remove the „barn-charm“ with selling the beams.

Been slightly under the weather the last couple of days and happened to randomly stumble across this channel and the flips. Totally addicted to videos now but also dying to get the game (that I didn’t know about until today)…. gotta wait another month for my platform, but luckily it looks like there are plenty of videos to watch while I wait 😂

I think you should extend both sides and remove the lower hip of the original barn then extend it over the new wings. I would also have the front and back decks go the width of the building. What do you think?

u should of save 1 of each of the beams so that when you had thought bout your design you could of put them back if space or deleted them if not

I love it, on the topic of random color schemes ideas can we try a holiday themed house like St Patrick's (greens/deep blue) or maybe Easter(pastels pink/orange/blue/yellow with like stripes and spots and wavy lines, white for fill in spaces). Most people seem to do Christmas or Halloween so a different one would be cool to see and you have a crazy enough design pallette to pull them off.

How about a large deck to the side leading to another building you could use as a gym, games room or man cave? Colour scheme.........................how about MUTED, that purple/pink and green house was was so LOUD! Keep up the good work though, you certainly keep me entertained.

See I love your design but I would love to see you do a more rustic house and try to challange yourself with different limitations like one house use only certain items or color pallet but thats just my stupid idea

If you add to the other side, you could do the bathroom and kitchen in that area do the other side as kids or extra guest rooms and the master suite upstairs and the living\ entertainment room in the center of the house in what used to be the original building. As for a color scheme, I think it would look interesting as a log cabin exterior with natural earth tones and the darker cherry wood floor. But that's what I would do, and that is one of my favorite things about this game. Seeing how everyone else designs or interprets the space they have to work with.
