Yup, i agree. Im a "soft maxi", im not dellusinonal to think bitcoin will be the only thing. We will have other crypto, mostly for utility or just funny meme coins. Money will become more of a language and people will have fun with it. The store of wealth and property will be bitcoin. It will be the base of our economy.

very interesting,people will continue to use btc to purchase altcoins but like you point out, it still comes back to btc as the true value token even if the altcoin has a value. i think btc and alts are helping each other gain adoption although it may not be by design

I guess it would work for a debit card but Apple Pay doesn’t accept prepaid credit cards and none of my credit cards will allow crypto purchase regardless if it is thru Apple Pay or not.

It is daunting buying BTC and then moving it to a cold wallet. I know that is holding back friends of mine who are interested in buying, but aren't willing to take the leap. They are more comfortable holding their money in the bank or in investments.

Recommend them to get exposure through their brokerage accounts by buying one of the Bitcoin ETF's (Ex , IBIT Shares)

@@88SATSradio How so? I actually think Self Custody is dangerous for most because they can compromise themselves. If I know someone that isn't competent enough, but still wants exposure to the price appreciation. Wouldn't an ETF be their safest path ?
