May I ask having your goldfish during the summer in the outdoor pond did you have any issues with something trying to eat them? If yes, how did you address it?

Sorry but buying deformed fish, bred to be deformed, should be outlawed! Poor things cant even swim! (Wiggling is NOT swimming!)

If you don't like the way breeds are why not just clap yourself and join PETA. These Goldfish were bred naturally from China for almost two thousand years and the breeds are hand-picked and selected to give them possible benefits for survival. Today we done the same thing. There's no need to whine about all of these "deformities" after all.

@@zezekingyo2374 sorry, but I have to agree with Cathy on that.. They may be bred for thousands of years and hand picked for aesthetic purposes, from what it could sell. That doesn't make it better. It shows what people did to get by, at the time. I find it cruel to encourage breeding by buying them. These fish delops severe vision problem on how abnormally deslocated the bubbly the eyes are. They are cute, but just not worth it, and that is my personal opinion..

I’m late to the argument and all but these fish ARE NOT DEFORMED! As you may know when people release them into the wild what happens?? They take over the lake and breed and reproduce like crazy, do you think that they would survive a winter, predators, and other things if they where deformed? I agree and I’m against LOTS of types of breeding such as Pugs, labor doodles Spider ball pythons, and many other actual animals that are actually deformed. I don’t see how these are deformed! I have 2 myself( same type butterfly telescope) and they act like all my other fish and do fish things. Goldfish sometimes “wiggle” around to try to find food in the water. They can swim great! If you ask me, long tailed Bettas are more “deformed”then goldfish. And I do ha e them as well .
