Epic Illustrated is so underappreciated - this series is full of brilliant stories and stunning art including Byrne's unfinished "The Last Galactus Story". I've found first issues and high-grade books in garage sales, don't know why that dude thinks you can't. Who is Kevin Nash?

I would give the FF1 and 5 a good deep clean/press for a grade bump to give them more appeal to make them easier to sell. Chris is right, a store incurs a lot of monthly costs. The lower the overhead costs are, the more meat remains on the bone. In my opinion, Angelo and Sara handle it well in their own way without high costs. The only problem that can arise is that the stock dries up. Perhaps in the future they will have to go further north to buy up collections.

You can own a comic shop and be successful. There is a comic shop near me that sells nothing but back issue comics. He has several rooms of back issue comics and has been around for many years.
