Great advice! I'm fortunate, as my lcs beats online dealer prices every time. I get to inspect the coins before purchase. No shipping charges. No waiting for the mail. Sadly, I no longer trust USPS. So, if you have a good lcs, that's the way to go. Thanks for the video.

Something people don't want to hear - if 1oz of gold is not achievable then arguably gold is not for you - this isn't something that should be rushed and you should only be buying metals once you already have a cash cushion. The absolute min I would say was "ok" is half oz but the premiums quickly go north the smaller you go - save up the cash and when you have cash you don't need anytime soon buy an oz of gold. If you are young, get on the property ladder first, make sure you pension is being funded first - gold should be for any overflow. I think of 1 oz gold coins as a months living expenses for a single retired person assuming your house is paid off - not a bad pension supplement

Great advice, I always go for what's on sale and am fortunate to live in a large metro area that has collectable generic like engelhard and Johnson matthey on the cheap. And maples for low premium, and I have great lcs that I can get very low premium gold eagles and lots of Mexican gold pesos on the cheap. Great Channel 👍

I started during Covid with silver. I fell for the hype economy was going to crash Silver to barder. I started slow then got some tubes to keep the price down. Now I realize silver sucks, I wish I just went with gold. I could of got 1/4 oz gold for the price of a tube of silver. The gold I bought a year later has already become worth more than I paid the silver not so much. Don't fall for the silver is going to skyrocket crap. It will just drive you crazy. A few tubes are about all you need, save up and get gold the real keeper of wealth.

I will say, Goldbacks are very expensive and no you should not be buying them for stacking purposes. What I bought them for is because they are quite literally just beautiful pieces of gold art. Now I definitely do not recommend buying a lot of them or trying to stack them but I do recommend buying a couple to keep as collectibles. Goldbacks are a nice idea but I don’t think we’re in that bad of shape yet to warrant their use.

I have been involved with AU & AG from the time of the Hunt Bros. Yet I still found this video and talk worth my time. Twice listened to; picked up good information. I.E. The charts showing Kitco vs JM. I would like to here your take on Silver Buffalo rounds. Seems they are made by many; and the few I picked up do not mark whom manufactured them. My LCS had some from Mason Mint tested with the XRF so I felt good with the purchase. So many are available and without an XRF in my back pocket. I end up relegated to the ping test. Also I would find value giving a listen to you speak about 10oz silver bars. How you feel about the choices we have? What you would consider buying, as well as what you would stay away from. Have rarely heard such a good advise, especially spending money on bs items, like you said, have a budget for a month to invest in, no matter how much, you will gain in the long-term, do not panic if your investment falls 20% in a day/month. And even just making up technical analysis to support the "crash" he wants his followers to think is coming. Keep it close to spot. Think about who you are going to sell it to. If you can’t afford a 1/2 gold coin, then silver is for you. After some time stacking silver you will tighten budget and then you can go for the gold!

My nephew is 20 years old and thinks that gold chains and gold jewelry from the local mall, aka his “ bling bling “ was legit gold. He spent $2,500 on mall gold just to find out he got lot metal aluminum that is gold plated 10k. I told him to have them test it in front of him and he didn’t do it. I always told them to lull out the precious metal detector to see what’s real and what’s not. He got mad when we went to a real jewelry store and they told him his gold was basically fake and not worth anything. Avoid mall jewelry at all cost!!!

People comment a lot on ASE’s milk spots. Should I stay away completely from ASEs ? I have always bought gold, but with spot price ratio of gold to silver started picking up some silver. Been purchasing Maple & Scottsdale Cowboys ….in part with ASEs’ high premium + milk spots - now ASE premium better and price good point. Constitutional is both recognized AND legal currency, just like the eagles (that’s why the eagles have a denomination on them), so both are good. The premiums for both eagles and constitutional are up, so that argument is irrelevant
