Late to the party, but the Air-Tite H32 seems to fit the 1oz Britannia's diameter perfectly, but the thickness of the coin is 1.8mm (noticeably less than the $50 Eagle this was made for)... the Air-Tite description says this will cause rattling. Does anyone know how bad?

Very Happy with Apmex for years. Pre 1933 G coins and cool unique products for Gkids. Also shipping is FAST. I don't like when I have to sign and then I am not home and I have to go to the PO to get my coins! I just ordered from SD Bullion and got a piece of silver at spot for new customers. Nice piece. I have not tried JM Bullion or even heard of Monumental Metal. Will check them out. TY

Coins are like stamps, there are British then everything else (ie foreign). It is silly to describe Britannia's as "foreign" especially by a foreigner!!!

I saw people melting goldback online are extracted to gold yes it's a process. Nowadays China's pushing fake gold coins and silver. Goldback to have security when they print it and I really don't want to have to keep on buying all these kits on testing gold or silver.Yes I'm paying higher premiums but at least I know I'm getting the real deal instead of some RGF. I don't see the point in melting it if it's already in a currency form

Safes in a house are dumb. Especially if people know you have a safe. "open the safe or die". 3 feet of PVC . Shrink wrap bullion. Cap both ends of PVC with PVC caps. 100% waterproof.

Nice content but for me, the background music is very distracting making hearing and comprehension more difficult. If you keep it, lower the volume please. Pre-1933 St. Gaudens is my favorite gold to collect.

I have a 1 oz American Platinum Eagle and I love it. I got it as an alternative to gold. I really like the unique properties; high meting point, corrosion resistance, density, hardness, finish, and rarity. I got it mainly as a collector piece but it being a PM is a bonus. I also like that it is a $100 denomination, kind of unusual.

I know how to prevent milking but not remove it. Every silver coin or round I get I do it to the coins and they will never milk spot. I'm still thinking hard how to market my invention. Been testing my method now since 2000. None milk spotted. The trick is to do my method BEFORE milk spots appear. Once milked it's too late.

Could you or someone tell me how Australian gold nuggets factor in? I know there is a premium when you by some of the pretty, or larger nuggets but do you also get that premium back when you go to sell them? How do coin shops deal with people coming in and selling nuggets?

from the sounds of it.. if the Government were making these you would be all on board but because they are not a quick run to the 7/11 to grab a soda with them everywhere you could imagine going they are bad?....... reminds of when plastic cards were first used to make purchases .. i mean why would you get something that can only be used in a a total of 27 restaurants in all of New York City and absolutely no where else???? ..

@@xessq1 no, because as I’ve pointed out numerous times, a cheaper equivalent already exists. If you want to be logical in your example, you’d compare a government credit card to a new private credit card. Why get the private one when the government one already exists and costs less to use? For the record, I’m very anti-government involvement. Even the most expensive fractional gold pieces from private mints are a cheaper alternative to the goldback.

I typically suggest the gold eagle, but as far as looks and security features, the Britannia is the best in my opinion.

I like PCGS and NGC MS62 to MS64 because the premiums over circulated gold is small. And nothing is more beautiful than an uncirculated Gold Double Eagle or Eagle.

I my garage I have six two by fours stacked in corner . My cool router made hollow slots in the back of borders with loot secured inside and sealed. Safest place for gold bars.
