Buying JDM Imports with no grade sheets…

On today's vlog we head to Moorehead Motors to check out a fresh batch of JDM imports from Japan. Nissan Silvias, Toyota Soarers and rare Nissan JDM cars. This is not a serious vlog, but more of an observation of what we came across on our travels this week. Is now the time to buy a JDM import?

Only had this conversation with a couple of lads, as the years tick by in this decade the 90's JDM will continue to surpass the 30yr mark meaning 200 VRT and cheap tax, I wonder though how long will it be before our government decide to upend proceedings but I'm hoping that over the next 10 years the Jap numbers will increase on our roads once again🙌🏼, I've a pain in me hole looking at smoke mapped tdi's😂

It's a shame there aren't some decent, slept on chassis types that people wouldn't be so keen to sugar coat over in Japan. I guess maybe stuff like a Gloria instead of a Chaser, less likely to be bodged about as less desirable...but then there's less aftermarket and stuff too so it's pros and cons I guess! Lovely selection of cars there today though lads :)

Reason's to why that Yellow S-chassis speedo is so far off is because they put smaller wheels in on :P My buddy used to have 13's on a Nova, and we were doing 190 on the highway while we were doing actually ~90ish (km/h) :P

@@driftgames_life They're tall profile (195/60/15) standard though, so you've probably got an extra 10-12% error just from that. That said, this probably has a diff ratio swap as well. The revs seem to match the speed from what i can remember a CA car should be, but clearly its going a lot slower!
