No one in my area does rent to own wothout 10k down. Most acerage in my area runs 20k an acre. Unfortunately I can't leave my area because we take care of mother-in-law and grandmother but would be nice.

I know it's different depending on where you live but I hope this helps a little! I went into Craigslist and sent an email to a lot of ads that I was interested in and even though they weren't advertising owner financing, 2 of the 20 ads said they would consider it. Depending on your situation, maybe someone out there would give you all a chance! 😁

lisa myhre I'm in the PNW. Both the housing and land market is wild up here. We have low inventory so a lot of land is getting bought up so it can be built on. Land is becoming scarce in the greater Seattle area and also quite expensive. If you come up here and buy land, you'll get a better deal the further inland you go. It's cheaper on the islands by the key peninsula but you'd get closer to 1-5 acres, not 120 lol. Plus you'd be on an island which has some disadvantages. Hope that helps

When everything you make goes towards bills, food and transportation to get to/from work, how are you supposed to save? Its a lot harder to get ahead in life than it used to be, unfortunately its not the economic golden era of the 50's-80's, where the middle class was strong and the minimum wage was far closer to an actual living wage. A positive attitude will only do so much, you can have the most positive attitude in the world, but when you live in poverty, a positive attitude isnt what pays the bills or puts money in savings.

Lower your bills, you can live with WAY lees than you think to make your dream happen. I lived in a tent for a year while working my butt off to make my dream happen. It was super hard but worth it☀️❤️☀️

My bills are as low as they can be, maybe dont make assumptions about people without any knowledge of where they live and the cost of living. I live in Canada, so living in a tent is not an option and not owning a vehicle is not an option.

That's why people live in a van while still working FT. If you're focused on saving, the $ mounts up quick. Or, there's trucking. Get a CDL if you're in the U.S. or Canada. Put your stuff in storage or sell it off & live/work in a big rig for a yr or 2. Financial freedom!
