Honestly, I think that you guys are so lucky to have so many options to purchase from in terms of preloved items. In South Africa, we are not as lucky and most of the sites in USA don't deliver to RSA. Those that do deliver to RSA end up being charged exuberant amounts of tax and duties, which makes the total amount to be equivalent to the new item at the store. Anyway, this is was a great review and very informative. I wish I lived in the USA so that I can access to these items easily.

Sorry love. I know the struggle of those taxes and duties all too well. I used to cry about it and go to the customs office all the time trying to negotiate. In Botswana its even worse than SA. I definitely am grateful to be in the US were access is so much easier ❤️

Good video. I once forgot to make my last payment with fashionphile and they cancelled it and charged me tohe 10% fee. I called them and they were kind enough to refund the 10% fee since it was a first time offense. Doesn’t hurt to ask!!

This makes me love them even more. you’re right about asking, I find that most places are quite reasonable and their focus is keeping the customer than losing a customer over a minor issue

Very informative video. I just did it yesterday for the first time. I know they dont tell you the set amount to pay monthly after the 25% down but they only give 60 days so that's only 2 months. I hope I get what I reserved and nothing goes bad in between:)

No. They hold on to the item until you have paid in full. They just don't charge interest during the reserve period.

No. once you put it on layaway it becomes unavailable to everyone else. it’s fully put aside for you until you finish your payments off. No risk of someone else buying it during your layaway period

I have a problem with the layaway with fashionphile. Make very sure you want the item. I lost 500.00 with that 10% cancel. I received my item and didn’t like it. Since they started charging differently. I just go to store and purchase.

You are right. You have to be very sure about the item. I said just as much on the video. I also would not use the layaway option for high priced items because losing that 10% must really hurt. Thank you for sharing and I'm sorry about your experience ❤️
