What you’re saying is so important to me. I’ve been stuck in this loop of buying things to feel joy. The more unhappy I was, the more I bought-until I ended up with giant boxes of unused clothes. It started to frighten me but now I’m beginning to truly understand that things won’t bring me happiness, and people won’t like me more just because my clothes are expensive or fashionable.
