that hide looks like it could be sharp and betta fish are very delicate fish so they could hurt themselves pretty badly on it also you don't want to go with like around shape or a cylinder tank because that doesn't provide a lot of oxygen and the nitrogen cycle won't work as well and I also try and go with a more naturalistic tank so that way you're betta fish won't just see a bunch of bright colors and they'll feel more secure when they see there's more plants everywhere so they can hide and everything

@@jailarobertson9279 as long as you condition the water you should be fine, bettas are relatively hardy it’s just preferred/suggested that you cycle a tank before adding a fish for the sake of upkeep and the fish itself. API QuickStart is a good option or if you have a filter from an old tank that you can use.

U should use natural colored gravel a five gallon tank at least and silk plants if u can't do live I thought u of all people would know that. Edit 1 and you should just leave the light on white and don't let it change color it might bother the betta.

Dude there are soooo many things wrong with this!! NEVER GRAB A BETTA FISH WITH YOUR HANDS!! They have really delicate fins that take forever to heal if damaged. Also you need to cycle a tank for at least 3 days before putting fish in. Also also you need to slowly acclimate your fish to the water temperature and condition. You can do so by slowly adding the new tank water that has been cycled to the glass or bag. Please never do this to your fish again!
