You don’t have anything to do with it. The closing agent submits a form to Central Bank requesting approval for funds to enter Belize

After the closing and it goes to the lands department for title, do you have to wait for that title to be issued before you can take possession and move in, or can you move in after closing?

Once the title transfer has been lodged at the lands department, you can take possession of the property. It will take approximately a year before the land title is issued in the new name

Hi, Giselle! My family and I have made the decision to move to Belize next year (2025). In your opinion is caye caulker or san pedro better for families? Most of my research has been for San pedro/ambergris caye but I wanted to know more about caye caulker to make the best decision. Thank you!

Hi! I feel like both can be great for families. I feel like as a kid, Caye Caulker offered so much freedom because the entire island was my playground and the community is so small, each person almost felt like an aunt or uncle. Are you visiting Belize anytime soon? I highly recommend you visit both islands before making a final decision :)

A document is sent to central bank stating that funds will be entering the country and then they need to approve it :)
