Buying Random PS4 Games From eBay: Was It Worth It?

Looks like I finally found another random lot of PS4 games on eBay, and I can guarantee you we will probably never get as lucky as we did with that first box of mostly retail returns/voided games. So let's just consider this bundle our first, actual PlayStation 4 lot from what looks like an independent seller (even though they for some reason left eBay). We've got 32 games in total to go over, so join me and live vicariously as you presumably go all digital whenever PS5 drops. I'll keep buying physical games that take up space. Hurray hoarding! Hurray never selling games due to PayPal and eBay fees!

That can be easily said when just talking First Party titles in how there are people arguing on the two recent PS exclusives like Ghost and TLoU2. Though only bringing it up as a point and not to start any argument...😅 Though to be fair there are certain games out there that have universal hate like the classic E.T. The Game, Superman 64, Ride to Hell Retribution, and etc. Still obviously if one buys a random lot and then complain they got crap... Well that is going to happen as it's random. One can be upset they got a bad draw, but that isn't the fault of the seller in my opinion.

Same man . It feels more satisfying to open and close a case and it feels more like you actually own it. I don't know why though when I play some stuff digitally it just feels weird and cheap to me . Putting all your money online playing digital games online , just doesn't feel right . And because some stuff can get taken down and it just has no collector value . Like some of the PS1 games I have I recently collected a huge amount of collector games like Resident Evil , Silent Hill 1 and Diablo 1 , and about to get Castlevania Chronicles and Symphony of the Night . Those games are mad expensive . And the more you have them it'll just get more and more valuable . It feels good to have that option .

@@thehunter7422 discs are cool for archive but I think games run better as the digital edition simply because the hardware isn't involved in the optical drive and the bottlenecks and heating running a game off a disc entails

Same and you never know when those games might go up in value . Look up the beta version for Fortnite and also the Godzilla Game for PS4 on eBay . People are paying like 100 to 200 dollars just for a used copy . I myself have a Godzilla copy and I'm proud to have that . But there's still more collectables like that . It's crazy .

I’m personally getting the disc version too! In the short term is about 10% cheaper but in the long term you can get cheaper used games, Lend game (also possible with digital) and buy new games at a cheaper price

It really depends on the game. Sometimes you can get a digital game for next to nothing on sale or half of what it would cost if you were to try to get the physical copy. It definitely pays to check both digital and retail on older games.

I'm with mystic, a lot of younger people truly don't appreciate the part of the game culture that involves collecting, seeing the box art, reading the backs and seeing the screen shots. The selling, trading and giving as gifts aspect will forever change with digital garbage. I will never support digital and the amount of hate I get when I stipulate why is frankly disgusting. I personally been moving to digital as it takes less space. Back in ps3 days I had games physical but they just sit and collect dust and that’s why I chose to trade them in. I’ll buy a game physical if I wanna give it to someone as a gift but digital gifting is a thing on steam and will become a thing for a console eventually. Ps. All of this plus occasionally games get pulled from digital store fronts or you want to to be able them years down the line and physical is still the best way to go. I'll always prefer physical to digital, even if physical is on its way out. (And you forgot reading the manual on vintage systems!)

So almost no online only games, no online without a good SP storyline, no sports, and definitively no games that are really badly rated on metacritic with valid arguments about bugs/unplayable, play to win nightmares, or just being a bad game.

Deponia is a really good game from a german developer company - they compared to Lucas Arts in many ways. They made Night of the Rabbit, Anna's Quest, Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav and its sequel Memoria!, Whispered World and Silence, Edna and Harvey, and Pillars of the Earth based on a Ken Follett novel, just to mention a few!

Deponia is kind of a cult classic point and click adventure, at least in Europe, in the niche subgenre fan circle. It's hilarious, probably the closest modern game to Monkey Island series (there are 4 Deponias at the moment I believe. Daedalic is basically making the best point and click adventures of the present, hands down. And they're making several a year, it's crazy.

Killzone Shadow Fall : Wow, this game still available in 2020. Released in 2013 and this game still looks fresh. I know this game is not really popular like other PS4 Games. But it looks so addictive I think this Blu-Ray Games feel like having Movie Blu-Ray or Movie DVD I think Every PS4 Games looks so interesting and Addictive. But, I never have or even buy it...

Local niche RPG nerd here, and the Cladun games are actually super fun dungeon crawlers, This is Sengoku (the one you got) is actually the third game, I do believe. The first two were on PSP. To me, that would definitely be the highlight game of this lot
