So do you plan on upgrading your tanks to larger ones or is there just no rules about tank dimensions for certain fish in the uk? If you have larger tanks on hand or your friends have no problem but if you plan on keeping the Gymnothorax the Columbian shark and the knife in this tank that would be f…. up

Currently I’m not planning to get a bigger tank as the 240 is already quite big and yes there are guidelines in the UK for what size tank you need for certain fish. The Gymnothorax Polyuranodon will still be fine in the 240 for a while. Same I’d say for the ghost knife looking at the growth rate over the past few years. The only one I’ll need to move on soon is my catfish. By the way it’s not a Colombian Shark, it’s a Stormii Catfish. But yes I can assure you I keep a close eye on my fish

There’s some serious concerns with this shop. Nowhere for fish to hide, especially the eel and then the soft shell has two large red spots at the top of its legs. It’s either ammonia burn or something more sinister.
