I had a very similar story. I had been after a white face Daytona from the uk for a while and had been told the wait could be a few years. I was taking my wife on her birthday to New York. I contacted all the ADs in Manhattan and one of them had the watch so reserved it and picked it up when I was there. It was awesome and to do it whilst on a holiday. Enjoy the watch and the journey
