The new 126610LV “Starbucks” is a rockstar. After owning the Hulk for a few years, it was too much green. The new LV has contrast between the gloss black dial and green ceramic bezel making it more dramatic. It also works better with any dress from casual/beach to a suit. The new design now looks like a direct lineage of the 50th LV Anniversary Sub but with significant better build materials. Obviously the new “Starbucks” will be THE modern Sub to own and making it extremely rare to get with years of a waiting list at the Rolex dealer.

@@arabbit9396 Absolutely nothing. I ended up getting the 126610LN. And lemme start off by saying; I HAVE NO PURCHASE HISTORY WITH THE AD. I walked in. Talked to the sales person that was helping me at the time. She asked me a few questions to get to know me. And from there, every Friday/Saturday I would go to the AD. See what new watches they had available for the week. Did that for about a month and half. They told me “you did everything right.. to coming in every week to being really polite. We get a lot of customers who will come from out of city and state just to find the watch they want.” My town has two stores that are Rolex AD. I went to the one that’s in the rich part of town. They told me they prefer working with people who are in town.. and that’s one thing I can respect of them. That store gets a lot of watch collectors; they’ll go in once. Put their name on the waitlist and never come back or hear from them ever again.

4:12 Not all ADs give you the bezel protector. I was told that Rolex doesn't like them to give those out. I'm glad you got it. I got one with my ceramic Kermit as well. Enjoy.

@@EMKWANREVIEWS Man, I have purchased so many lately I can't even tell you. I've already purchased all of the new Subs, literally all of them, except for the solid yellow gold black dial. I have both the two tone and the solid gold blue dials and I have the two-tone black dial, and I have all of the new steel Subs. Oh wait, I lied, I don't have the new white gold blue bezel Sub yet but I bought two other white gold watches over the last several weeks. One is the white gold Daytona, on Oysterflex, with the steel colored bezel. That's a super hard watch to get and it is arguably the most beautiful watch in my collection. The other white gold watch I recently purchased is the Pepsi, with the blue dial. It is absolutely amazing. In terms of gold watches, I also bought a solid everose gold Root Beer and a yellow gold Daytona with the black dial and gold sub dials (I already own the ultimate unicorn Daytona with the yellow gold emerald green dial). I bought a few of the new OP41s. I also just bought a Grand Seiko Snowflake. If you subscribe to my channel then you will see them uploaded eventually! Nice pickup. Quality and class and a great incremental upgrade in the right direction. The fit probably down to the slightly wider bracelet. The only knock on this piece, there’s always some nit pick, is that wide large clasp housing the glidelock. The clasp is the only thing I’m not a fan of with my Rolex Sub Date ceramic which is now discontinued and a collectible vintage I guess haha! Still it’s been giving excellent service these last five years and is an excellent everyday piece. Wear yours in good health!

B. Peppercorn The Omega Seamaster has an anti reflective coating on both sides of the glass which gives an invisible appearance... Rolex only coat one side... however with the new submariner my AD said they have now started doing both sides, although I can’t see it for sure in the video.

And, which would you feel more comfortable (psychologically) wearing a lot? I think I would worry about scratching the Kermit’s aluminum bezel, but I’m interested in your thoughts on it.

Funny you say that. I have a BLNR with older bracelet (polished centre links) so in total I own three Rolex watches; this sub, blnr and a DJ with jubilee bracelet. Gives me one each of the steel with bracelet combinations.

Hey dude, did you notice on the new Rolex 126610lv, i.e. the kermit，the laser etched crown is different than the previous model? The previous model had a single dotted oval shaped circle at the bottom, and the newer version has a double layered dotted oval shaped circle!
