Wow! Nice! Back in August 2018, I bought my brand new G56 Cummins crew Cab. I was in initially intimidated, knowing nothing about diesels. Once the salesman pressed the exhaust brake button, I was sold. 😃 Fast foreword, now. B&W gooseneck hitch, 14k gooseneck car hauler, BD diesel throttle booster, & I don't know why I hadn't been in the diesel universe sooner! 😄

Leonard Rice Does your truck seem like the throttle doesn't drop enough between shifts? I have a 18 G56 crew cab too I ordered last March and mine shifts ok thru 3rd gear but isn't smooth after that. I've been driving manual transmissions for 19 years and I've never had a vehicle shift like the G56

wagonhauler06 The G56 took some getting used to, but the rpms drop between shifts as I get off throttle. In fact, the when I complete shift and hit throttle, it's lazy. That's why I put in the throttle booster.

A 4 door short bed is worthless to me (which is the norm) because you cant even fit a shovel in it, glorified station wagon. To each their own, and if you want to make a fast truck, single cab is the only way to go.

When I graduated from high school in 2013 I said “soon I’ll buy myself a new reg cab long bed 6 speed 1 ton dodge”. 5 years they quit making them and I’m nowhere close to affording one. So now.....”one day soon I’ll buy myself a 1 ton 5 speed first gen”..... let’s see how that goes in 5 years.

That sleeve is for reducing from 2 1/2”. The 2” tongues are mostly rated for 10 000 lbs. The 2 1/2” tongues are good for the 14 000 lbs area.
