FOMO is 100% why the item shop is designed the way it is. In fact, the only reason they do that is because past games (TF2, CS, OW) did loot boxes (gachapon mechanics) but those have been banned by law in places like the EU. Item shop with rotating selection of items still creates the FOMO effect in a legal way.

I mean, you're right BUT they said that Flex are not at the same speed of knife, you are at the abilities speed wich is a bit slower that the knife. And the thought about this, imagine if flex was knife speed. NOBODY would buy knife skins anymore beacuse flex would be a replacement of the knife beacuse they are cheaper. Honestly the bundle (Helix) alongside with Xerofang IS quite decent, although a few weeks after the Xerofang bundle, alot of people did like the vandal and regret not buying it. The only thing I don't understand is the pricing of the flex. 1375 for a fidget toy that can possibly get you killed in game is NOT worth to buy, considering that's the only thing it does, and it WILL get boring after 2-3 days. If I must suggest to Riot, I hope they'll give us at least 90 radianites when buying a full 8700 VP bundle, my reasonings are: A FREE 90 radianite point(s) for purchasing a WHOLE 8700 VP bundle gets you full upgrade + 1 variant of 2 gun(s) which you can use immediately. Keep in mind that the rest stays the same, this will encourage people to buy the bundle more and feel okay with it. I haven't thought about the other bundle pricings and how much radianites they should give the players for buying the bundle, but this is just my opinion.

Although many say it’s overpriced, I personally found the Helix skin collection appealing-especially as someone who likes snakes and plays Viper often. The designs are sleek, and I ended up purchasing the Phantom since the knife felt too expensive and the Specter wasn’t to my taste. Overall, I think the design is fantastic, the finisher is impressive, and the sound design is top-notch. That said, it’s a premium collection, so it’s naturally a bit pricey. You don’t have to buy the entire bundle-or anything at all, for that matter. This is just my opinion, but I think these skins are really cool, and I’m happy that my first Valorant skin ended up being the Helix Phantom. :)

Definitely should be cheaper. Somewhere above or around the buddy/ banner price. I think it would've been cooler if the hand was movement was different, during the snakes movement (maybe like turning the wrist outward or something?). its also a bit awkward walking around with one arm in the air.

Hear me out. I know everyone is mad about the EX.O bundle, it is overpriced as hell. It should’ve have better inspects and unique reloading animations. So let’s calm down a bit. In my opinion the helix bundle is good except for the overpriced flex. They could’ve gone less with theme like xerofang did but it works. The scales animation is really cool on the guns, especially on the daggers. I forgot that I’m a sucker for chain blades until the daggers popped up, it’s a step up from the relic stone daggers. The other cosmetics are fine. The gun buddy is cute, you carry around a little snake. The player card is eh, which the same goes for the spray which is really similar to the viper spray. The flex would been fine at $10. If you’re here looking for player cards, sprays or buddies, I hate to say it but your looking at the wrong section most of the time. Hey at least we didnt start the year off with some gacha bs for a skin with a $20 tag or more, am I right?

I was a viper main and if she wasn't worse than other smokers right now I might have justified the ridiculous price on this bundle which is probably what Riot intended. @@urnotjustin A tween normally used in animations is something that normally gets connected to the keyframes to make them not look so "snappy" as you see in the flex. the smoothen or "change" how it gets to the keyframe. normally without a tween its like a quick snap to the next keyframe. in this case the head of the snake looks like it is still on base keyframes or using a Linear tween between the frames. Linear can also result in snappiness if the keyframes are too close together. tldr tweens are the inbetweens between keyframes. in my opinion it looks like they took an unfinished animation.

In Helix 2.0 the snake will go from right hand to left hand, than in 3.0 the snake will go from right hand to left than again from left to right hand and the price will just keep on increasing like blindly 😂

Just because something has less flashy animations doesn’t mean it’s bad, it’s just that skins are different and we actually don’t know what is happening in the skin development team rn, maybe they had to release the skins and they had a deadline and couldn’t meet it so they had to cut out some animations, I always thought about that, since the spectre has a unique animation but everything else doesn’t. I’m not saying your opinion isn’t valid or anything, it’s just we should put a bit more thought in to what we say especially for the people that develop these, because I am certain the designers don’t decide the price for THEIR skins so it’s not them that we have to be mad with😅
