The gen 2 vantage used the AMG engine as it came. The 2024 Vantage uses the same engine however, AM have given it new internals to their specification, basically they've been allowed to massage it to better suit the AM character. You cannot get the newest version for the price you quote, you can get the gen 2 car for those prices but it will be an early example perhaps 2018/early 2019 car.

@@michaelmich00 I run about $1k/yr for annual service...I do about 5000 miles a year, but I will be replacing my clutch next year, which will be around $7k...after that it should be smooth sailing

I will add that, when I bought the car (for $47k in 2021), I built in the price of the clutch, knowing that this model was on its second OEM clutch package, and that I eould move to an aftermarket twin plate model…been a great ride…don’t ever plan on getting rid of it…help that helps!

Will great move you bought a 2025 Vantage. Much nicer with new infotainment plus has additional 170 HP. The front has the looks of their 0ne-77. Love the Racing Green with yellow brake calipers that’s same colors as their F1 racing cars. I have my eye on a DB12 used one right now. Aston Martin is one of the best with interiors especially their leather works and stitching.

Aston Martin has been my dream car for decades. Everyone always D-riding lambos, porches, mclaren, etc. I feel like those are the pumpkin spice lattes of super/luxury cars. To me Aston Martin strikes an excellent balance of luxury and sport that you really don't get with other vehicles. The other brands lean heavily into the sport or heavily into the luxury, but Aston Martin just hits the nail on the head. Prior to this most recent refresh, their interior was so mediocre for the price tag, but they really hit a new high after the updates. Can't wait to order mine. Almost there.

Aston’s are very underrated cars. Their only isssue is their depreciation, which is great if you know how to buy cars, but not so great when you want the latest they have to offer. Yes I love the 911 and the lambs and Ferraris.But ASTON has really stepped the game up.People even sleep on the DBX 707 Which is a beast! Yes I highly recommend them. Very nice people at the dealership. So I did a lot of shopping and it seems that the better the spec the more expensive. Sweet spot. Is about $99,000 which is what I paid. But apec is everything

how's their certification process? Swag is a standard issue plus a mailed gift by some dealers. Twenty year of Lexus paint is also very good. If it's a keeper for it's limited production run versus it's three years out the price is very affordable. Rally car + chase vehicle with matching liveries.

The depreciation was my main hesitation becuase with my Ferrari's and Lambos I have either made money or broke even but with the Aston I could lose alot... But my plan is all of the above that you mentioned. Content. Better car shouold depreciate less. Wanting to enjoy the car and the fact that i'll be the only one around with one in my spec for sure..etc. great question. I'll get into it more when the car comes.

Lamborghini just released the Revuelto while Ferrari just discontinued the SF90. This means Lamborghini is now one generation behind Ferrari because Ferrari will soon release its SF90 replacement.

For me, Aston's ooze class, and are the most sumptuous cars on the market. Your only problem is, they recently released the stunning 2025 Vanquish, and in the looks department knocks spots of both the Vantage and DB12, in my honest opinion. That said, if you're happy with the Vantage, go for it!
