I was the same at first, I got the grey, named it DreamChaser, and rode it for the first time and I was shocked at the dramatic gaits! Then rode it for a while! And ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! ❤ 😂

Your not the only one who thought that 😂 I bought the liver chestnut and I saw the gaits and I just laughed bc I found it ✨Dramatic✨ but it is growing on me and it’s amazing since I have all the Belgians warmbloods. Both breeds amazing

These horses are supposed to be dressage horses so u know that’s why the gaits are super fancy and stiff

The horses can be great jumpers and eventers too, star stable maked them look like dressage horses

I also am not sure about the gaits, but I think the horses in irl have awkward gaits too? I'm not sure if they are this strange but I don't ride horses so I wouldn't know lol, although the coats are so pretty!

That could be it! Maybe that’s how dressage horses gaits are🤷‍♀️ but they’re gorgeous so I can’t complain!

Hi! I have some experience with dressage riding, and a lot of upper level dressage horses are trained to use their bodies like this. I will say, this particular horse breed’s gaits are very dramatic, and most dressage horses don’t have this much extension to their gaits. If you watch some videos about upper level dressage, you can see how many of the horses move, and you can start to pick out what is natural about these horses, and what isn’t.

From what I've heard from players who have experience with irl horses, the gaits are accurate, dressage Dutch Warmbloods really do have gaits like this :) They may look a little bit awkward and unusual, but that's mainly because SSO made this horse to be a horse specifically for dressage and we don't really have had such horses in SSO yet, so it may seem a bit out of place because we're not used to it. But it is accurate :) Actually even the "stiffness" of the neck while riding is common for many dressage Dutch Warmbloods from what I've read.
