About the Speaker : Niteen S Dharmawat
Niteen is the co-founder of Aurum Capital. Aurum Capital is a SEBI registered research analyst and investment advisory company. He started his equity market journey 30 years ago as a hobby and ended up pursuing CFA from CFA Institute USA. Niteen brings rich industry background and that helps understand companies, complexities of business and tipping points. He has worked with leading groups including CRISIL and L&T among others. Niteen believes in going beyond number crunching. He focuses on the long-term value investment ideas with sound fundamentals, the business operations, strategic direction, the competitive landscape, the governance process, the background of the promoters, to name a few. He believes that often these are more critical items than just numbers crunching. Niteen has to his credit several multibaggers. He also identified many fraud companies much before they got burst and that helped investors. As a part of his social responsibility, he conducts free sessions for common investors. He writes blogs, articles, created educational videos on the subject of investment ideas for common investors. The best talk on CFA Society India, in my opinion. The Clarity in thought process is something I have personally yet to see in other talks by other great speakers.
