This does not work, it might have for the first couple of users, but I have tried it several times over the weekend with a new account etc and its an absolute con, Temu puts bullshit prices up like save £600 on the thermal camera, reduced to £142, a far cry from the £70 price tag. Even the Meter is in the £20 region. @Sorin, Probably need to be wary of quoting Temu in the future, having a proper discount code with a reliable retailer is one thing but quoting Temu discounts (which seem change every time someone else searches for the same item) is pretty pointless.

Thanks for the nice video. I do have one correction regarding the hot air station: you can adjust the airflow. When you turn on the hot air and set the temperature, you need to press the gear icon, and then you can also adjust the airflow. Thanks to your video, I bought this and am very happy with it. It works great.

Oh! I looked up the Soldering Station on Amazon Germany and found it (significantly more expensive, obviously), but the reviews also include a warning about the connector pins on the base station (both male?) potentially being live without a cable (at 230V). So if anyone gets it, better make sure to always connect wires before plugging it in.

I only saw the multimeter at the price they gave you, and never used temu before. Soldering station and thermal camera says item no longer available. So I ordered the multimeter and had to add something else too because there is a minimum order amount. I am curious if I will receive the multimeter that you reviewed or some cheap copy. I already have a multimeter that I used for 15 years but at this price it was too good to pass, keep you posted.

This looks like a really nice (de)soldering station, especially for that price. Better than any cheap one you'd randomly find on Amazon or eBay, but I don't really trust Temu with my data. As for the measurement tools, would have been nice to see some comparison between measured values.

For a beginner, I recommend spending a bit more on quality tools. These cheap tools will do a job but you need a lot of experience to effectively use them. Thanks for the video Sorin

@PCEYTube Not true, the fact that they're cheap doesn't make them less in quality. The thermal imager is superior to anything from FLIR below 340p resolution. The rework station is solid, I have been using one daily since 2021 & it works great. The truth is that Western companies just can't compete with the Chinese anymore in terms of instrumentation. The Chinese make better tools for a fraction of the price of Fluke, Bosch, etc. The Chinese tools are also easier to fix.

After going through the rigamaroo of "cheap" as a beginner myself, I'd never think to suggest anyone to go cheap+china, get what's good, even if it might put a dent in the funds. That's just part of starting a business or going into a special hobby like this, 99% of mistakes i ever made came from flimsy beginner's trap advice like this because i was both ill-equipped and lacked the experience to ""make it work"". Even chinese want to earn profit. You probably haven't even seen any JBC or weller or ersa or even chinese T12 soldering station. And saying chinese make better tools like Fluke shows you have actually no clue about electronics. If you would then you would know what makes Fluke good and why industry uses it everywhere. There are decent price and quality even from chinese, but definitely not the cheapest ones. For soldering it's night and day what you use. If you want cheapest decent quality at least buy T12 station which has heating element inside the tip. For hot air ST-862D is definitely decent quality for the price. For thermal camera InfiRay P2 Pro. For multimeter any will fit your motherboard where voltages are max 20-25V. Anything mains related stay away from it if you value your life. Btw even if you buy cheap multimeter and don't care about speed or accuracy then buy at least decent multimeter probes like probemaster. Makes night and day already.

@PCEYTube How many FLIR thermal inagers can boast of a 25hz refresh rate? Or 40mk sensitivity? Don't mistake the image fusion on your FLIR for the actual thermal image. The updated version of this UNI-T has image fusion, too. As of today, China's Infiray makes the best & and most advanced uncooled thermal sensors on earth. FLIR doesn't even come close. FLIR now shies away from listing the actual technical specifications of its thermal imagers in order to hide their inferiority. I have a FLIR too & I used to think like you, but you can't argue with facts. There are tons of reviews online.

I'd say this always depends on your actual components. You don't want to use anything higher than what's usually on those connections not to fry anything. Will 0.9V generate enough heat to be visible? Maybe.

New guys on the block, trying to undermine Aliexpress, my guess. These might be ok for someone just getting started or as a hobbyist but I wouldn't trust this stuff long term. Granted, with the exception of the thermal camera, they are almost being sold at 'throw-away' price points. I've made 2 purchases from temu when they first started and got what I paid for - low quality crap. I know of others who experienced the same, so I know it wasn't an 'isolated incident'. Call me a tool fanatic, IMOP a good quality tool will cost more and as a business, I'd rather have the latter even if I need to spend 'a bit' more. Experience has taught me that 'cheap' can come back to bite you more often than not, versus a more expensive purchase. The best thing to do is research & shop before you buy. Just my personal experience, people can decide for themselves. Nice review.

I found the soldering iron 2in1 kit, it’s $36 USD at this point if you not new member. Not even sure the new member thing works from reading the comments 😂. And because it’s not sold by temu currently (third party seller) you have to add $15 worth of temu items free shipping or waste money on shipping so that puts you at $51 minimum. I hate that they give all their deals to new customers smh I’m already signed up with my real & burner email accounts 😂. Not a bad deal for what’s included I guess…..

Lower airflow is required for very small parts otherwise they blow away. But you can change airflow, press the button, or better, read manual ;-)

You can do nothing wrong buying a cheap multimeter, but everything that runs on mains voltage you might watch or read a review first. Chinesium products have the tendency to neglect users safety when it comes to mains voltage. ;)=)

I have that thermal cam and while it does okay overall, every time I have gone to use it since the day I got it, the battery is dead. I've contacted the company asking the simple questions like what batteries it takes and how to open the unit to even change them and they had no answers! They seriously joked around the whole time and ignored my questions. I don't know if I'll ever buy anything from them again simply due to their ridiculous interactions during this conversation. Temu keeps track of you phone or device ID. If you try a new email on the same device it will either tell you something is suspicious, device was used before or may not say anything and just put limits on things such as games. Prices will always have some outrageous original price and make it seem like discounts. The games take forever and by the time you win, if you make it that long the product will be gone and you will be offered something way less than what you chose at the beginning. They have it all mapped out.

I will only comment on the camera - sure it might be sensitive (although your testing was far from scientific) but: - the frame rate seems about 10-15fps, which you say is 'good' but I would classify as barely adequate. You don't need higher for repair jobs, but there are better cameras out there for not much more and you could buy something decent that you can use for other applications, not just repair jobs. - most importantly the resolution seems attrotius. Sure, it picked up the CPU and transistor as red, but a quarter of the board was glowing red with it. You didn't even bring it close enough to see if you can pinpoint the 'failing' component. Otherwise what is the point - if there are 100 components in the area that all glow red.

Why I don't buy items from Temu? Because they are selling products produced in forced labor camps. That is why most of them are extremely cheap. Why there is a free postage? Look for information in Internet, we are all paying for it, but not directly. Bottom line you are benefiting from cheap products, but for what price to other people? I know that Temu is everything right now, because they have a lot of money to spend for promotion, but it sad they get also on this channel.
