Even though I really like the entertainment factor of this video, I might want to point out that these products with unknown origin might cause several problems. Starting with the heated brush, in the EU there are certain norms and tests electronical devices have to pass, for example to get a CE certificate, and with these products, the logo might be fake and they might not have run those tests or passed them, which might endanger the users. Moreover if they are made in China- China has some "working camps" aka slavery working facilities. Especially brands like TEMU have been called out for not being able to provide information on whether their products were manufactured in those labor camps or not. I can understand your euphoria about using these products but you might want to consider the economical and social impact of those. Not saying all tik tok shop products are bad, there might be some small businesses, but considering the prices shown here, I am mostly sceptical.
@PeaceRose969 ай бұрын
i totally agree!! this has nothing to do with sierra or any of the girls, this is just a fact for ordering products and having zero idea where they come from it's scary. plus putting your payment info on tiktok and to random businesses scare me. temu and others are known to sell your personal info and scam people😭

I agree. It may be annoying but I really like when the links go to an external website because I like being able to look at the brand and other products to get a sense of what I'm actually buying. I love this team and group of women, and have been watching sierra since I was 15. This group makes me feel so comfortable and seen especially with how open sierra has always been about humanitarian issues such as BLM and even aid/the war on Ukraine but some of the recent choices that are being made make me really uncomfortable. Sierra has made it so clear in the passed how she thinks it is important for her to use her platform to shed light on human rights issues yet nothing has been said about Palestine. Why do black people and the people of Ukraine deserve your activism but not the Palestinian people….. I don’t want to lead with hate or judgement here because you ladies have provided me with a space on the internet to feel comfortable. However, I truly cannot understand how you all publicly ignore this issue. It is just really disappointing…. And honestly makes me less and less comfortable every video I see. Not to mention the continued support of companies like Disney, and Starbucks, which tells me that even though you aren’t posting about it or sharing online, you also probably aren’t contributing to the movement outside of your online spaces because you are publicly supporting these brands. I really just wish I could understand. And if you’re stance isn’t with Palestine, fine but then this isn’t the place for me anymore.

Not going to lie, this came across as a rather shallow investigation into TikTok shop and its practices. Personally would have prefered a deeper exploration into the rampant consumerism it encourages, especially in kids/teens that havent developed the critical thinking skills needed to filter out what's an ad and what isn't, and what's ethically questionable. I understand not all videos have to be deep and meaningful, but comments like 'ignorance is bliss' in the context of extremely cheap products is tone deaf at best. I hope this comment hasn't come off too harshly, I've appreciated your channel for many years and think you all do a lot of good. This one just missed the mark a bit.

this simply just isn’t a video about a deeper exploration about rampant consumerism lol. Tiktok is extremely popular and most people are getting ads and curious about the products so this video was simply exploring that. If you are looking for videos about a deep exploration about consumerism i’m sure you can find another youtube video about that.

Love the video per usual but the real question is what lotion is Riayn using because her skin was glowing and what mascara was Jadyn wearing because they just look perfect!!!

It’s already been said but it feels irresponsible to be producing a video about TikTok shop without even mentioning the sustainability or ethics, which are huge question marks. What you choose to buy and support is obviously up to you, but when you’re essentially creating an ad these are things that should be considered. Disappointing

Out of curiosity, did you continue to see those same ads even after purchasing the items?

The crop tuck has the sliders so the little pieces on the end don't stick out / down. Slide the pieces apart and you won't have that extra bulk!

The excitment about the bag is funny, like there are thousands of bags that already could do the same thing that are better long lasting materials.

please fix the varying volumes on your video as it's quite annoying

If TikTok shop is sooo tempting why not just decrease your usage of TikTok? Most of these items except the crop tuck thing seemed like something you already owned :(

I love Jadyn but her cadence reminds me of those tiktoks of people impersonating bland influencers who sound like they're being held hostage.
