Geoff was doing his kids a favor taking all that super low end stuff they didn’t want off of them for a very good price for his kids. I wouldn’t say he is giving his kids special treatment but there are lots of people who would love to sell all that low end stuff for those values and he can only buy so much stuff like that so it makes sense he chose to get the inventory from his kids

I found a stack of approx. 150 cards on the weekend which I purchased as a kid (hockey and baseball cards from 1978), so I decided to do a bit of trading card research. That's how I stumbled upon this channel and fell into the SCI rabbit hole. Great channel, Geoff. Love your attitude and energy. Though there are some decent cards in my collection, I doubt they would get high grades, but I'm going to take my favourites, have them framed for my own pleasure and as souvenirs of my childhood. Keep up the inspirational content.

No reseller will pay $1.50 for cards that might sell for $2, and if they can sell briskly, you should pay no more than $0.50 to get the proper profit margins to make it worth holding potentially slow moving low dollar value inventory. Most comic book shops offer 30% cash or 50% store credit, which for collectibles is what's necessary to run a business and not get stuck with a business whose assets compromise company value, but faces challenges with actual sales transaction revenue.

Geoff, I love your content - but you’ve got to stop making these videos that are OBVIOUSLY advertisement videos, & make honest, real card videos. These are so clearly staged & rehearsed. The key words & phrases you force in are very noticeable… just constructive criticism. It’s basically like watching a commercial for the store. If you wanna make them? Fine, but don’t disguise it as a legit video…
