It’s not so cut and clear because it varies on your obligations. If you are single , kids or no kids, if you rent or live with parents. But if you are single with no kids and pay a rent of 50k then to afford a starter car your salary could be 150-200k, that’s my assumption.

So question suppose I ask for a 3 mil loan but I have 1 mil to start the process that would mean the rates would be lower each month paying then or just ask for 2 mil and add my one mil and purchase the car. The 1 mil is actually what I save up And I can manage around 30k to payments each month

I would put down that 1 mil to use with insurance and other car related fees, use the bank buy the car fully. However if you have 30k monthly I don’t think that will cover a 3 mil car monthly repayment. It’s best to go to the bank with a car in mind and ask for a estimate of monthly repayment.

Supposed you going thru a loan company because as you said contract workers have it hard loan companies are more likely to give you a loan even if your a contract worker so what about that??

My experience is that the bank won’t grant you when you are in your first term of contract, they generally want you to at least have it renewed. But if you have a long term contract let’s say 5 years then you might have better luck.

If you’re buying a car cash at whatever price the dealer is asking. Why the price fluctuate base on the age and record of your drivers license?😳😳😤😤🤦🏻‍♂️ this is criminal at its highest. In any civilized country only when you’re looking to purchase insurance then your insurance policy will be based on the age and record of your driving history. Ladies and Gentlemen Jamaica is officially an barbaric country.
