Buzzcocks...where to begin? The first song I heard by them was "Orgasm Addict". That made a big impression. Some classics - "What Do I Get?", "I Don't Mind", "Love You More", "Promises", "Everybody's Happy Nowadays", "Harmony in My Head"..... Basically check out "Going Steady" But for me, there greatest song is "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)". I would like to add that for one it is a perfect pop song, as well as being one of my favorite songs. Check out TOTP, 1978 In return for talking so positively about the Buzzcocks, I would like to share two pieces of light A Certain Ratio - Be What You Wanna Be Nuages Django Reinhardt played by Stephane Grappelli & Julian Bream This may not be your cup of tea, but I think that it is a thing of absolute beauty. Keep up the good work.

😁 Feeling like I'm almost 29 again. Pure punk for me, nothing post about it. Though their best single was the one with the question to which the only honest answer is an embarrassed "umm, yes". That Ellas Bates fella has got a lot to answer for. Here lies the bloke, the only bloke in Harpurhey, who wasn’t at the Lesser Free Trade Hall. A similar event was the Australia-West Indies Tied Test in 1960, where more people claim to have been present at the final day than the ground holds.

In my humble opinion, which is the opinion that I think is better than anyone else’s opinion that disagrees with it, this is their best album and one of the best albums of the punk era.

How often ya'll take requests?

Thanks for tuning in! We take requests at all times, but what we then do is log them in a running spreadsheet, and then attempt to react to them on a first-come, first-serve basis. Typically those reactions come out 2-3 months (give or take) after the request, as we devote our Friday episodes to those viewer requests.
