my coming of age idol. sad that i didnt know he fronted buzzcocks for another decade. opened my eyes more to the spectrum of punk than i realized existed . "Why cant i touch it?" Love to meet the Pete.

I got to meet them all at oxford road trainstation manchester accompanied by John robb 8am in morning on way to my music college friendly guys great albums i’ll sure miss him. Arriving late at college…”why are you late?” My response was good enough “I’ve just met the buzzcocks!” 😂

Buzzcocks were original & Indie movement a few years on in 1980's came from that ethos of having control of your own art & everything coming from the music.
