The whole of side two of Different Kind of Tension is a masterpiece. I have danced, sweated, sang and screamed through I Believe perhaps a hundred times, and my reaction is a joyous thrill every time the chorus of "There is no love in this world anymore” plays. Every time. There is no “rote” critical distance for me here. Age becomes timeless, it is happily dwelling inside of works such as this and I am thankful for the genius of composers such as Pete Shelly.

I saw the Buzzcocks perform this in Portland Oregon the summer of 2006. They extended the extended ending part until the room started to spin. There was only one Buzzcocks and they're GREAT!
