Spot on again Steve ….I switched to buzzers on the droppers yesterday and was shocked to find the bigger fish hitting the bottom dropper fly….I’ve never had that happen before and often wondered why I bother fishing three flies as they are more difficult to cast. Key thing …as you point out ….is patience. Some of the hits were so ferocious I got snapped off …..stupidly only using 4X…..you live and learn.

This was a great beginners kit for a great price. kzbin.infoUgkxKRURvLsu9Vvyw7gIuvt8FsApoQNCdz-1 Its given us a huge variety to test out and see what works well and what we like to use. Majority of the flies have stayed together well, but some of the rainbow warriors did unravel after catching a few blue gill. All in all, this was a great kit and are so happy with the purchase and value for money.

Does it matter on hook sizes with position of Buzzers? Would the point for example, be a size 10, then a 12 middle dropper then a 14 top dropper to balance it? Or am I over thinking this?
