Agreed. Also, the official term for the firm alarm thingy is the Alertz Smoke Alarm and the water sprinkler thingy is the Fire Prevention System Utility Panel. You also need both for the latter to work (in fact I think the only function of the smoke alarm in Sims 4 is to trigger the sprinkler system, as there are no firefighters). It is also worth noting that a smoke alarm will detect a fire anywhere on the same floor, not just the same room, so you only need 1 per floor (so 2 in the case of the current Impiccishme house). The utility panels are also not room specific--each panel will deploy one sprinkler above a detected fire anywhere in the house, provided that part of the house has a ceiling over it.
