Peg Entwistle had a profound effect on the acting world that she would never know about. In 1925 she was starring in a production of the play The Wild Duck and there was a girl about her age in the audience. That girl later told her mother “I want to be exactly like Peg Entwistle”. That girl was named Bette Davis.

The Los Angeles Times writing articles about her, her name being a household name in the United States and beyond, dozens of biographies written about her, as well as decades later having characters in major motion pictures & entire series written around your life? All these things, she would have absolutely loved. It's apparently the thing she strive for most in life. However, I don't know how to stress enough, my friends. I think the legend of Peg Entwhistle probably inspired the creators of GTA 5 to make Jolene Cranley-Evans who is a female ghost in the game. I think the ghost appears near the area of the game's version of Hollywood sign. That she only will appear like at midnight in the game if you're there to see her. She'll de-spawn if you get too close. She floats in place over a rock. When you approach her, or whenever she will naturally de-spawn, the name "JOCK" is on the rock she was over. It's rumored she was killed by someone named Jock. I know it's not exactly the same story, but the creators probably were inspired by true life story. And that's all I know about Jolene Cranley-Evans, all from hearing around the internet. I haven't yet tried to find her in game yet. And I mean no disrespect by mentioning this game ghost. When I heard Peg jumped from the sign, it reminded me kinda of Jolene's story. And sorry to everyone that knows all about Jolene if I gotten anything wrong I'm sorry. You can kindly correct me if you want to.

The subject of suicide is coming up a lot lately. But those hotlines are very problematic. Been seeing a lot of people saying either no one answers, or they hang up on you. I know from personal experience, they trace your call and call the cops, who are NOT mental health specialists.

I called a similar line that was advertised thru my job. Something called employee outreach or something, it was supposed to help with anything from alcoholism, financial troubles, anxiety and depression. I was crying while I was explaining my situation and the woman was like, "I really don't know what you want me to do"

Constructive criticism, or at least my opinion I hope it comes across as constructive, more of Carol and less of the ARG stuff, please, while I appreciate trying something new and the effort that went into the ARG idea it's just not what people come to the channel for, nothing wrong with trying something new at all but I feel like people come here for unsolved crimes, true stories, stuff they can look into themselves and discuss in the comments, the effort of something like this where there's been research and going to a location to film etc is all appreciated by the viewers and not overlooked, maybe the ARG mystery thing could be a Halloween series every year to get involved in so the work that went in isn't wasted, that would be interesting, a new one every October over the month leading up to Halloween... Just my opinion/feedback, not trying to be negative
@justalittleturtle56003 жыл бұрын
To be honest, you're one of the few people who aren't being negative. What you said was just genuine constructive criticism, which is pretty rare on the internet imo. I agree with you too, while I thought the idea of an ARG was interesting, yes, I'm not subscribed to this channel for fake mysteries. Though I like your idea of a once-a-year thing, where we all come together like some twisted Whoville story to solve an ARG.
