California Here I Come (Golden Mix) (Golden Mix)

Built in 1928 as a apartment/hotel this Hollywood landmark has had quite a sordid history throughout the years and also some notoriety for being the location for the back album cover of the Eagles "Hotel California"
There have been numerous deaths at this location, the most famous being that of Victor Killian, 70’s tv star.

I grew up in that building. I lived there 1996 to 2006. That’s me from 12 to 21…. I was in apartment 114 which is right in the lobby and I was also in 528 so my bathroom window was right under the big Lido sign… this was cool, man. Thanks!

The Lido was used in the 1976 Warner Bros film ''St. Ives , Starring Charles Bronson ,his character Ray St Ives lived here At the Lido!!!

Notice the window is smashed in the Elvis apt. ? I lived underneath that apt for 10 years. My A/C is still there in the window, and it doesn't work, so I guess they haven't been able to rent it out. Long story short, I basically had to evacuate from all the damage this tenant was doing. And it's a very long story. Weird things going on in that apt. Every single person who has lived there has gone crazy one way or another.

@@kcunlimitedeats Water damage dripping from the roofs. And inside the walls also, to the point where outlets are sparkling. Also insane amount of noise, like banging, and sawing in the walls. I imagine the whole building will fall down one day due to the squatters. 😅

I lived in The Lido for almost 12 years. 1999-2012. Very familiar w Elvis and Jill and the “jump” from 426. I think someone died in the bldg every year that I lived there. I never felt eery in my apt (314) but the Lobby would freak me out!!! The pool was still there in 1999-2000. I remember when they filled it in(along with lots of garbage it accumulated) and made the parking lot.

426 is haunted or something.. lol. I lived in 326 from 2011-2021. Had to evacuate from the damage. The noise was always insane no matter who lived there, but I dealt with that. Even when it literally sounded like a zoo up there. Sometimes it sounded like orcs and goblins. But the water damage I couldn't deal with. First it was just the walls 'crying'. Then it starts dripping all over my stuff. I think a murlock is living there now or some type of water creature.
