I used to visit Pattaya regularly 25 years ago and after a very long hiatus began to come back just before the pandemic. The one thing I learnt very quickly was if I was there for a week and wanted to play the field I would bar fine the girls furthest from my hotel on the early nights. I used to stay at the Weekender hotel now long gone that used to stand on 2cnd road, close to where the Central Marina Mall is now, there were beer bars both sides and on the oppositte side of the road but I would never use those on the early days of my holiday, That way I would avoid walking past them hand in hand with my girlfriend for the night. Pattaya has changed since those days and I am older, perhaps not wiser as I can still let other body parts rule my head especially after having had a drink, but much of the advice given now was valid back then and vice versa. Things now complicated by smart phones. The one thing you have to keep in your head is that Thailand is disneyland for mongering males and as such is just a money making business that is there to provide experiences that are not available in the real world. Enjoy it for what it is. Don't try to think that you are special and that you have found someone special. Your princess is as real as a disney one, a fantasy to be enjoyed for the duration,

A tip or two: 1. When going to a nightclub w the lady of your choice...soon there will be 5 of her friends there suddenly gulping the drinks! Beware the farang pays. 2. Taking a highly drunk girl back home is a pain in the ass IMHO. She gets to your toilet, throws up all over, gets into bed and passes out, meanwhile you lay awake all night listening to her SNORE! 3.Thai ladies can drink until they drop and leave you with a kiss on the cheek. I spent an afternoon with one young lady would wanted to learn English and so, being an English gentleman, I taught her, for free. A very enthusiastic and conscientious student who worked hard on perfecting her accent. After 4 hours of sitting outside of a friends restaurant repeating the drills she had reached near perfection. I went near the bar where she worked to ensure she was confident as she started her shift, it being next to a boxing ring on a main street, and awaited for my student to perform. I was pure magic! Her English was crystal clear and her voice loud enough to be heard over the crowded street. The bar owner, however, was not impressed, in fact he was livid and accused me of committing all sorts of heinous crimes, to which I protested my innocence. The young lady was just trying to attract customers by communicating with them. "Hello sexy wallet!" did not seem to driving the customers in for some reason. True story and one of the reasons I was never welcomed back to a boxing ring bar complex in a large city in the North of the country.

I do recall back in 2001 I took 3 Thai ladies back on 3 different nights at The Patong Beach Hotel and never had a problem ... I also thook to other Thai ladies back in 2014 at The Ashlee Heights Hotel in Patong formerly called Critus Heights ... I actually been pretty decent as all the other 13 holidays either thook one lady back or never did ... Joy was the one I actually had throughout my holiday on two holidays in 2016 and two holidays in 2019 ... in 2018 I only drank at Joy's beer bar 3 times on a 15 day holiday as had other Thai friends I know before Joy to have day trips with ... on the 2nd 2016 holiday I found out Joy had a Australian boyfriend since 2014 by 2018 they broke up

After about a month, she decided that I wasn't what she was looking for, (the sleeping pad on the floor of a slum room may have been a clue! ) and she moved out again, taking everything but a small electric fan. I guess having a belonging still in the room gave her license to bop in any time she wanted and have a bite to eat and some drinks! I found out through the grapevine where she was going to be hanging out one night. I grabbed the fan and took it down to Soi Cowboy and handed it back to her right in front of a bar, in front a bunch of her friends, and I said bye bye, good luck! I knew I was treading a fine line with her losing so much face, but felt that it had to be done. Sure enough, she came storming back the next morning. I was sitting on the edge of my pad facing her while she ranted away. Then she took a swing at me with her left. I caught her wrist in my right hand so she took another swing with her right. I caught that wrist as well, then she tried to stomp me in the jewels. I caught her ankle between my knees and there she was, madder than a wet hen, stretched out wide and hopping up and down on one foot! I was laughing my ass of and got up and ushered her out the door. That same level of separation should be applied to your room, photos, etc. 2. Never EVER associate a drunk women...PERIOD! I made the mistake of being... socially unaware of the situation at one bar in Bangkok. It was my go-to bar for drinks after work; the atmosphere was relaxed and I had fun there. So this 1 girl (let's call her A) would always come sit with me. We chatted a bit, even went out after her work shift with some of the bar staff, but I assumed she was just doing her job. I wasn't really interested in her and I was just having a great time. One day I met her friend (let's call her B) and it was instant attraction. So one day I went to the bar and it was A's off day, but B was there. So I bought her drinks, she sat with me, we had a great time and I got her LINE and started chatting with her. Boy, was A mad. What I didn't know was they were actually room mates, and A actually kicked B out, who moved back with her parents. It was somewhat awkward, but A didn't stay long in the bar after, as based off her LINE, I'm guessing she got a Japanese/Korean boyfriend/sponsor. B too didn't stay on for much longer, as she said she was leaving to set up her own hairdressing shop at Pattaya. I realized that the distance wouldn't be good for us, so we slowly drifted apart. Looking back, I really regretted doing so. So I went back to that bar, around once a month or so, and then COVID hit.

My story .. I was leaving one relationship to another .. I was dating a girl for 4 months but her English was poor. I met a new girl that spoke great English and I knew her more in 4 hours than I did the other one for 4 months. I took her back to my place and the new girl found a hair in my bed. A few people have mentioned Thai girls' love of money over 'love' for a man, but in all of SE Asia they have a more pragmatic 'real world' understanding of life. Remember, there is no social security safety net in Thailand. 'Love' is all very well and good but if you are homeless and penniless then 'love' won't put a roof over your head or food on the table. Besides, even in the West I do not see many (any?) women seek out tramps and beggars as partners.

This isn't related to Pattaya or Thailand,, but one thing hit home. I was in Las Vegas & this lady came up to me in Caesars Palace Hotel & asked if I would like a massage or sex. I wasn't drunk so I refused, in Las Vegas the costs are scarey. However then I couldn't stop thinking about her, she was absolutely stunning. So I phoned this place where she worked, but got cold feet & left it to go out. When I got back to my room, the telephone was flashing. So I answered & I had told them nothing, but they knew my name, hotel, hotel room number the lot. I was told the lady was on her way, so scarpered very sharpish. 😂

Everything you said is in line with the rule that - if there's any transaction involved - that's not for the relationship/companionship but rather for the end of it once "it's done". All but one advice you shared in this video are all about keeping your past encounters ... in the past (the girl, her pictorial representation, or any STD she may have had at the time of your encounter). Let's say that, if I ever had to enter myself into one of these bar girl transaction, I would feel that what I pay for is the "bye bye", not the "boom boom" :) (the latter is thrown in for free, because I'm so handsome:))))))

In my very limited early experience I would go to a bar several times. If all I did was sit and have a drink with the girl(s) then talking to different girls on different days was OK. If I bar fined a girl then I assumed she was now exclusively mine in that bar. Also, always choose the girl when you walk in. Don’t let them choose you.

Never take a lady friend from a bar on a short trip with you unless you have known her for a long time and you are on good terms with her. If you go with someone you have just met outside her normal environment she will become shy and nervous and things can and will go south or bad. Some great tips . i have made all of these mistakes but I am learning and I only come on holiday if I find a new friend tell her I am a butterfly.

As you said swapping numbers is not a great idea, but you should have mentioned Line, you can swap Line details and if it gets out of hand you can just block them. Also when talking about photos watch out for apps like Google photos, Dropbox, MS one drive etc. Unbeknownst to you they can be uploading any pictures you take to your on line albums. Later if your gf, wife or even kids are playing on your phone they may end up seeing pictures you thought had gone forever! 😑

Slightly off-topic, but following on from the observation made by one poster about how much Thai girls can eat (also true for other SE Asian girls), what about how quickly their body returns to normal after having had a baby! I have bumped into Thai (and Cambodian, Laotian, Vietnamese, and Burmese) girls the very day after they have given birth and you would never know that just the day before they were carrying a baby! In fact, you would never guess that they had ever been pregnant!

haha happened to me three times. once at the Nana hotel, Discovery beach hotel in Pattaya and Azure in Pattaya. i was shocked that the massage girl new my room number and name and was able to call from reception to me that evening. I just went back to the hotel with her to take a quick shower and we went off to dinner. I stayed at the Centra Azure in Pattaya across from Grand ave. i stayed on the first floor where there is a long walkway along the pool. My friend was able to find my condo pool side and knock on the glass. Also, when i stayed at the Grand hotel in pattaya my ladyboy friend was able to find a strand of hair on the floor.

Guys have been stabbed over less than that! I once saw a Thai girl scream out that the Western guy next to her (who was obviously with her and who had obviously made her jealous) had sexually assaulted her (whilst watching the Thai boxing)! I did not understand every word as she used some vocabulary I did not know but I did hear her offer THB500 to all guys who would help her deal with him. About 5 or 6 Thai guys proceeded to lay into him. It was quite vicious. I think all he had done was to offer to buy another BG a drink. Remember, lots of Thai guys harbour derp-rooted grudges against Western guys coming to their country to pay for sex with Thai girls, something which they can't afford to do in many cases. Many will jump at any opportunity to 'get one back' on Farangs. Also, many Thai BGs are mentally unstable. Some have 'yabba' habits. Some are alcoholics. Some are both. Some are orphans. Some grew up in orphanages because their parents were in jail. Some grew up in dentition centre as their parents used them as drug mules. There are exceptions, of course, but a large portion of Thai BGs did not exactly get the best start in life. Also, as my friend Tim Ward (aka 'Sharky'), who used to offer protection to the girls who worked around the bar I had shares in, would say, "Give me a girl. Line up 200 guys. Have the girl s*ck each one off in succession. Will that girl ever be the same again? That is what has happened to all BGs, either in a week or in a year." Truer words have never been spoken.

Lol.... I made the mistake on booking into a hotel off grid ( over the main road at the top of the central main road for 1 week) ...there was a little bar opposite hotel , it was a Thai area . I went into the bar one night as couldn't be fucked too walk down too beach which even though the distance shouldn't have bothered me , it did in the heat . Anyway when I went into the bar I was the only guy in it - immediately the "PREDATOR" bar girl made a bee line for me . She most certainly was not the girl I would have picked , I thought fuck it and bought her drinks ,played pool and asked her to come with me ....on leaving we decided too go the road ( she knew a bar ) got there it was dead and miles further away from the nightlife....we stayed had a few ,then decided to go back too hotel . We had got there by motorbike taxi - something I never do , I never ride motorbikes in any part of the world . So we got a motorbike taxi each and on turning into the road to my hotel . I found myself on the floor knocked out for a few minutes and not really knowing what happened. Of course I was involved in a motorbike accident , gashes on legs and arm was a bit fucked but thankfully not broken . The worse thing was I had lost 2 packets of Doritos , my wallet had gone missing but the girl seemed to have checked on that first before she came over to me . Anyway went back to hotel just about managed too do the deed , then took her out the next day ie: breakfast etc etc . We must have walked into a shop every 2 minutes and each shop she bought cigarettes and loads of other unnecessary shit . Cut a long story short - as my hotel was opposite the bar she appeared at my hotel room door the very next day . I had a splitting headache and was aching after coming off the bike the night before ( ambulance patched me up ) . I told her I was going to sleep and was in no mood for company. She told me she had left work ( bar ) and could not return ....she left after trying very hard too persuade me too let her stay . She left and then since I was awake now after about 20 minutes the Samsong brought me back too life and so went back to the little bar opposite and left with more feminine women who was lovely and didn't make me feel like being manipulated. After that I never went back and moved hotel . I actually feel the hotel choice even though bad at the time ( location - I was hell bent on a swimming pool ), was a great chain of events ... Due to the walk I found some great places , street food etc etc even cheaper than in central . I found one of my favourite restaurants and decided I wanted a massage after - I then found the girl who I would spend a lot of the holiday with and even come back 2 months later too see . I had a great time with her and she even came around too be quite loving and affectionate - moments that can't be forced or unnatural.

Wisdom I remember from back in the 80’s. I will say that back then the girls were a lot different from the girls today. Cell phones and the internet screwed that up. I have known a few very nice girls back then but a 4 day inport visit is never long enough to really get to know them. My biggest mistake was getting involved with a beach freelancer. This person was caught in possession of methamphetamine, crazy drug (ya ba) or speed, which involved trips to both Jomtien and South Pattaya police stations, bribing one of the men in brown for preferential treatment in the cells and a fine at the Courthouse to stop this person wearing orange and leg irons for 30 days

I feel like I made almost all of those mistakes 😅 I went to a bar in bangla road and started to hangout with one of the working girls. A drink for her, one for me, 300 baht. Not expensive at all, while having some good company. But, that drink last 10 min.. after you've to buy another and another and her 'sister' joined the table, so you buy her a drink also. After 1h, I spent around 2000 baht (luckily that was all I had, I knew chances were good I got ripped off, so I had a budget) and had nothing left. I played the newbie and asked her how barfining works: 'well, I have to make 10 ladydrinks before I can be barfined. After you can pay me 4000 baht and stay with you till midnight'. I started to laugh and there she knew I wasn't falling for that. She finished her drink and went looking for other costumer 😅

My younger work mate (24) came over for the first time with me and my godfather in 2016...he caught gonorrhea from a Soi 6 girl. On his return he was nicknamed "The Breakout Creep Of 2016".
