big tip for anyone shooting slow motion, you must always double your shutter speed if you plan to shoot slow motion. this rule applies even when shooting 23.976 - shutter speed must equal 50 60 fps = 120 shutter speed 120 fps = 24 shutter speed if you refrain from doing this you will get CHOPPY slow motion

For super short clips you can just use something like galaxy-s8. I filmed my sugar gliders fly and it's pretty amazing

Whats the point on using a smartphone for that? You will necer get professional quality and/ot fun doing it with a smartphone. You cannot crop your video, cannot edit video because its only 8 bit. Cannot record slow motion with low light. And Smartphone DOF only good in macro or software DOF that looks horrible because its software. But notice that the camera he used is like 8 years old and that one costs like 150 dollars

You don't have to shoot 720p for slow motion. You can change the 60i on the 1080p setting to 60fps

@@buckeyestudios it has 1080p 60i, the point is that interlaced (i) shoots half framed pictures (line 1, line 3, line 5, ...). Progressive (p) shoots whole images, which is nicer to watch. Both are called 60 fps, although 60i has 60 half frames.

If you change between NTSC or PAL the framerates change. But I don't know the difference.

Still interpret to 23.976 timeline you just won't be able to slow it down as smoothly compared to 60fps
