The lawsuit is very difficult to read. I worked in corrections for 15 years and that was right up there with some of the worst stuff I’ve encountered in files and testimony. And those freak offs lasted for years. It’s a miracle she was able to have children after taking all that abuse.

Not a lie told. When the complaint was released I said on SM to pay attention to who doesn’t believe… it was primarily black men. I kept the DV that I experienced to myself because I knew I’d be blamed and shamed. I had no proof. It was 1996, there were no camera phones.

I believe the disbelief of Cassie’s testimony for some ppl was their delusional way to deny & advocate for Puffy & themselves…But you can’t deny videotaped evidence. If they defend that then they’ll look crazy now.

I thought I was the only one who thought the video was light compared to what I imagined when I heard all her complaints. Frankly, I don’t know how she survived his brutality. He’s a BEAST and I’m so glad she at least got some justice.

I too am a very visual reader and so I agree, the descriptions of what was endured according to the court documents is far more agregious than the video. What this young woman went through can't be described with terms like DV or assault. She was kidnapped, s3x trafficked, drugged, beaten and mentally and emotionally murdered. There is more than one way to kill a person. There has to be a term for this that can be legally classified as a crime that has no statue of limitations. This happens far to often to us. I am speaking from the perspective of a Black woman because I am a Black woman who has endured similar abuse. A breaking free is not easy by any means. Someone should lobby for a new law. I am going to look into what this would take. If anyone has any suggestions please comment. Couldn't help Cassie or Myself but maybe it can protect some young women in the future.

Diddy's supporters have no integrity. They will lie, deny, and gaslight until they can't anymore. And Cassie was clearly trying to leave with no shoes in that horrible video, so much for she should have just left!

I believed her when the lawsuit came out. There has been rumors about Cassie's position in his life for a very long time. That video made me absolutely sick to my stomach. The amount of abuse that she had to endure she was the butt of many jokes

The written words were more horrific for me than the visuals. Those who didn't believe her were playing games with themselves. I wish his staff could've stood up for her, but who knows what they agreed to and what it may have also cost them.
