The problem is not the Virgin Islands against Kartel, we love him and it have a lot of Jamaicans living here just to make it clear. The problem is the now Premier/Minister of finance is also a district representative who neglects the districts and also the territory by miss spending and is not dealing with the main problems of the country. HE give a local promoter $220,000.00 grant deposit, not investment, just so to secure Kartel show. Persons are going through hardship, and many government agencies are not getting the proper funding as well for thing to go smoothly.

Good day to everyone, pray all is well. As per tbe BVI, Deputy premier Minister, L. Smith. I agree with her impart. First, in my salient point of view, she may or does have a moral issue with the artiste and what kind/type of music being sang. However, since she is in the public forum and political spectrum, all eyes and ears are viewing her talk on many levels. Secondly, if this is a logistical issue and or problem, then point out these logistics and put this to the senate and to the public as to why. Mrs. Smith, then throw her indirect shade towards the crab in a barrel people and government entities that pressing isuues are not dealt with for the betterment of the Jamaican people and for the country. Thus how putting on this or these events, how will it benefit the economy¿ I say, attract visitors to the event, hotels & bnb, taxi & uber services, toll booth services constant profitable, food vendors and business owners selling their products will benefits all around, and many many more. I agree with her on a moral issue and to stand on moral fortitude for the benefit of the country in a positive light and ways; asked self, have you heard of other artist going to BVI and singing any outrageous songs, if so, many are tweak and or not sung or at all. So like she may not outright say she is not a fan of the music or who the person is. She stood many toes down to say what she say. And we have to respect her in that. She is further looking out for the best interest of BVI and its morals, character, conduct, communication, and conversation of how any events can have a cause and effect to the country and impact negatively. So keep it in the Jamaican areas across the island and those in the Caribbean and overseas diaspora and all around the world who wants to hear Kartel, buy the plane ticket and go to Jamaica. PERIOD. CAN'T FORCE YOUR WANTS AND LIKES UNTO OTHERS AND THEIR COUNTRY WHO IS AND TRIES TO UPHOLD GOOD MORALS AND PLANT POSITIVE SEEDS IN FUTURE GENERATIONS AND HELPING TO TRANSFORM THE MINDSET OF GENERATIONS WHO SLOW TO POSITIVE PROGRESSION. JUST A sidebar note; I stayed and lived in BVI for 5 yrs or a more, and trust, I see where in comparison to Jamaica; I rather BVI for peace of mind, but, and i am saying a big BUT, nothing beats Jamaican food, beaches, some cultural norms and the positive vibes of many people, not all, but many. At the end of the day, Kartel and whomsoever who does business in his behalf does not govern BVI, so if they say NO, whether indirectly or directly, just moved on to other Islands who will say yes. I was on Duke Street the other day, and this lady with two children asked for something to eat for her children she asked. So i went to buy sime hot food for all 3 if them. So whilst, the mother wasn't eating her meal, i asked her about her living situation and why the children weren't in school, she stated in part, can't afford to send them and uniform, plus no where to keep bath themselves to keep fresh enough. Her son was bullied for smelling. Thus i am working on her resume and making certain that the children are odour free and dress and in school so they can be equipped to not become what they are currently living. I say this to say, please do not walk blindly by someone in need. Even if its your neighbor or their children, even if you see or think a person has it and don't need it; the point is again, it is never about the money, but showing loving kindness to another person and maybe one day you too hear their test-ti-money of the trials and challenges faces and or still trying to overcome. LOVE YOU ALL , and thanks a bunches of hugs. Just make a difference and be that difference to others, even to thine own self.

Search bvu festival group it bvi recreational ground. The distraction she talks of is using "government funds" To host the man kartel. The government funds is much needed to fix the roads, the schools ect. This concert should be paid for or sponsored by who wants to bring him in, not the government money. What so hard to understand about that
