BVLOS in Hamburg with HyraCom LTE Mini Drone

248g mini drone equipped with HyraCom HD remote control / video transmission performing a 6.8km BVLOS (byond visual line of sight) flight in Hamburg. The system provides redundant radio links with LTE (4G) and 2.4 GHz for unlimited operation range.
The system allows you to connect almost any remote controller providing 16 channels with S-Bus output on air unit, two parallel HD video streams and a transparent serial telemetry / command link that can be passed through wireless to ground control stations like Mission Planner or QGroundControl
The mini drone is equipped with a pixhawk compatible flight controller running ArduCopter 4.x software allowing automatic/autonomous waypoint missions. Flight time is 40 minutes which gives an operational range of about 10 km.
