Lol oh nooooo sorry to hear yours had issues! It can be rough when you don't know how to work on these yourself. Luckily mine has already been recapped and calibrated with a colorimeter, and I've opened up and worked on a few CRTs. That line at the very end cracked me up. *Edit* Definitely interested in a more in-depth review. Maybe test 480i on it, like PS2 or a DVD?

All good, it's still a fun monitor at the end of the day. I ended up testing a bit and seems like the sync issue is mainly with the RGB-PI I'm using. Awesome you are getting a nicer condition one, you'll love it. I'll see if I can get some footage running PS2 or Dreamcast on it!
