I remember a few days ago i met this level 5 in a rec center talking about how he hates rec room because people are toxic and theres nothing to do, then I showed him how amazing the community can be and all of the amazing creator made rooms, he was still sceptical but said he would give the game another go, I really wish rec room would do something more for there new players 🍩

one time a 9yr old in the rec center after about 5 minutes said "I don't like everyone looking at me :(" so I said "go to your dorm, then you can be alone and have fun" and they sprinted to the dorm room door, slapped their face into it (figuratively) and dissipated into their dorm, I'm also trying to reunite the player with another youngling that they met that randomly left them in the rec center, it's a work in progress though,

as much as im impressed of what the game has to offer (even in desktop, which is actually the biggest part of any current VR social game community usually, and rec room did know it well), having more money bast on currency and things aside from the actual game wont help devlopment if it itsnt their focus... and supporting streamers or whatsover wont help a thing either. This insane thought of videos or streams-and the people involved- being more important or an actual part of the game is absurd and deminish the quality of any game, always. what games like rec room needs is better, Stronger and easier ways for people to create stuffs FOR the game, if this is the game is about. and so far, it needs more work into it, way more. Kudos for the desktop controls tho, they did much better than VR chat in that department.
