Hey guys! Yeah, we have yet to see a MicroClip XT through here, but the second we do I'll make a video. I'm glad you guys got rid of the MicroCel oxygen sensor. Those things were brutal!

@petisze I'm afraid I still don't see how it applies, unless you mean in general terms, the autozero is a bad idea. Answering both: A. The environment is a clean air environment incorporating a hood so as to avoid the accumulation of fumes in a lab such as this with constant gas release. May I ask where you're getting the idea that these gases are in fact present?

@petisze May I ask what you mean by "big fault"? I'm not certain what you're objecting to in this procedure.

Hi ,to do a calibration do I hav to be accredited or trainied
@Idealcalibrations5 жыл бұрын
Not to do them internally on your own equipment, but you should be if you're handling someone else's equipment.

@@shailenpillay8878 Your best bet is to get trained by the manufacturer of the equipment you'll be working on. They have programs for technicians available

Is the regulator a 0.5 lpm or 1.5 lpm? Or does it not matter much?
@JamesMoore20399 жыл бұрын
Wilnotdie 0.5 lpm, and yeah it matters, that's 3x the gas flow so it'll throw your readings off.

@petisze B: In general, autozeroes are a terrible idea. I have seen many instruments which have been unfortunately autozeroed in hazardous conditions. I STRONGLY recommend against autozeroes, as they just aren't worth the risk in the field. I recommend against autozeroes not only for toxics like H2S and CO, but for Flammables and VOCs as well. Thanks for commenting!
@petisze14 жыл бұрын
This was just an observation, that this is a fault when you turn on the autozero for co and H2S becouse if you switch the instrument on, in an athmosphere where these gases are presents the instrument wil get these values for zero point and you will die. (As we know Co is savourless and H2S also in high concentration)

This is a big fault if you turn on the auto zero for toxic gases!
