Wonderful, hope the breeding program is a success and we see a return of this delightful little mammal. They look so tiny and vulnerable.

The last 50 seconds of this video are some of the darkest stuff I've ever seen. Wasn't expecting that in a video about harvest mice. Wow

Sadly Nature in the 21st century needs to be helped in that way in my opinion. I see nothing silly in breeding harvest mice to provide a food source which will enable totally wild species such as owls to survive and let's hope, thrive. Of course this goes hand in hand with the wise decision of the farmers to keep a tiny portion of their fields uncultivated. It is very easy to criticize. As we say in French: 'La critique est facile mais l'art est difficile'. I would advise Mr Pinder to spend a day at the British Wildlife Centre. He will realise that until then he didn't know much about these issues. This is why his harsh comment is forgivable.....

Это божьи создания и имеют право на жизнь как и мы... Люди приносят гораздо больше страданий и зла ближнему,чем эти милашки...

As cute as this little mice are. If they breed uncontrollably, they will wreck havoc to the crop. I mean they still mice unlike puppy which can be tamed. CMIIW

Unlike some rodents the harvest mouse eats very little.
