BWCA E.P. #36 Perent Lake July 2nd, 2021

This was a basecamp trip to Perent Lake over the 4th of July weekend. We love escaping the Independence day crowds during these weekends and the dog really appreciates the NO firework zone in the BWCA. We traveled about 7 miles to find this B+ campsite. During our trip it was in the 90's both days. We loved this site because there was plentiful shade and swimming potential. Cheers!

The brand is Big Agnes and it's called the "Deep Creek Bug House" in large. We got it directly from their website. I just did a quick search and it looks like the tarp is still available, but I had hard time finding where the screen part is still available.

We stayed there in 2018 and our neighbors were obnoxious and one of them ended up dying. Not sure if I'll ever go back.

OMG!!! You serious?? I must hear more of this story please. I know it's only a matter of time until we experience the obnoxious neighbor...but you should give it another chance. Wow. Crazy!

@@DaneCordes it's in the news look it up June 2018. They partied until 4 am the first night the next night one guy died. Sad story.
