BWCA Lake One | Ep 3 in Ely Minnesota series

I'm in Ely, Minnesota for several days and going on day trips into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) in my Northstar Northwind Solo. In this video I paddle on Lake One and the Kawishiwi River in the BWCAW. This is a "bite-sized" adventure where you can sit back, relax, and pretend you're in the boat with me. A few unexpected things happen but mostly this is a chill video where you can admire the plentious beauty of the northwoods.

3 QUESTIONS: 1. What size [Double Blade] paddle are you using? 2. Are you kneeling? 3. How tall are you? I have a Northstar Solo and am interested in getting a Double Blade Paddle. Thanks.

It’s a 240 cm Werner Camano carbon. I wasn’t kneeling but I do about half the time. I’m 6’4”.

Your best guess: Is this - a 240 - also a size that you think would work for me? I am 5’11, and paddle a combination of kneeling and sitting (on a kneeling drop). Thanks again.
